How Does Your Garden Grow?

Last month when I planted my veggie garden it looked like this!

And here's what it looks like today!

The jalapeno was eaten by something as was replaced with a
banana pepper.  The spaghetti squash was planted by seed three
times without a single sprout.  I couldn't find it in seedling form
so I guess we'll just forget that one this year!

We picked our first veggie over the weekend!
A nice fat zucchini!
Yum.

    1. All that rain has really helped. And the days it didn't rain I've been good (so far)
about getting out there with a hose.
The zucchini was delish....and just the right size. Not too small and not the size of the house yet. lol.

  2. Your zucchini is taking over, too. Everything is looking good! Looks like you're going to be picking tomatoes soon. I've never tried to grow spaghetti squash. I might try it next year.

    1. Yep, the zucchini and cucumber are competing for space in that spot! haha. I have never had trouble
growing spaghetti squash before. I even tried two different envelopes of seeds in case the first one was a dud. I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

    1. Here's our trick for no weeds....about 4" of mulch. The weeds can't grow through it.
No weeding all season...it really works!

    1. So far so good. We usually get some kind of deadly mildew that kills everything at it's peak. Fingers crossed that won't happen this year!

    1. I hope so! So far so good but we get this icky mildew that kills everything mid summer.
Usually very disappointing right when things look so good.
