What's For Dinner?

Here's what we've been eating the last few days....

  1. Pizza.  Garlic Naan smothered with herbed goat cheese, fresh corn, asparagus and onions.
  2. Shrimp kabobs.
  3. Cheese burgers and fresh grilled corn.
  4. Grilled cauliflower steaks.  New to us and surprisingly good!  They were brushed with balsamic vinegar, garlic and olive oil and sprinkled with salt, pepper and cheese.

    3. Uh.... yes.
      You need intervention
      for your plaque convention!
      Must be very bad luck
to have things in your teeth get stuck.
Wait, you don't even wait for that
with your constant flossing, Pat. ha.

  5. I love shrimp and corn on the cob. Have you tried putting the ear of corn, shucks and all in the microwave? Microwave for 3 minutes and it comes out perfect every time. The silks even come off easy. I've heard about cauliflower steaks....I must try them!

Everything looks delish. I noticed in your sidebar last night that you were having cauliflower steaks and wondered what the heck it was. Looks so tasty!

    1. Absolutely! Wow..that cheesecake sounds amazing!

I saw several recipes for cauliflower steaks on PInterest and happened to have a head of it in the fridge...so I have to try them!
Pleasantly surprised at how good they are. I guess they are the new rage for vegetarians and they did give you a slight taste of
      grilled meat.

  12. As we say here, "Luvly grub!". I think for next years calendar, in addition to the "luvly" cat and birdie calendars, you should publish a "Meal of the Month" calendar showing one of you creations appropriate to the month, with recipe of course.

Can I put my order in now please?

    1. That would be fun, wouldn't it? I'll have to think about that. Need to do something different...the calendars didn't do well this year!

  14. Wow what a feast. Our sweet corn has gone on sale just today. We will see booths everywhere selling it. That shrimp shot would sell a lot of shrimp if they had photos of it at the market.
