Pink Snow

I worked out in the flower garden this morning.
The scent of blossoming trees was intoxicating!
And it snowed pink petals when the breeze picked up!

  1. Now let's see if I have learned something. Is it a Jay?
    Beautiful shot . .
Reminds me of the song, "I'll be with you in apple blossom time!"
Now with all that waffling I may now not be first! . . . . lol

  2. Thought I would let Eddie be first
Or I might end up under his curse
Beautiful pics of pink snow and a blue jay
Your photos always brighten my day!

(Can you tell I was just at Pat's?!) :-)

    2. I am affected like that too
When I say words more than two
      They come out in rhyme
      It happens all the time.
But Suzie I must make this clear
That you have nothing to fear
There would never be a curse
If you were first or were better versed . . . . . lol

    2. Please forgive me a little bit of "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back"...

      "Come on! Kill those spots!
Kill the mess!" yelled the cats.
And they jumped at the snow
With long rakes and red bats.
      They put it in pails
And they made high pink hills!
Pink snow men! Pink snow balls!
      And little pink pills!

      :0)

  7. Pink and green looks so good together. Ever notice a very blue sky with lime green from the new tree leaves against it? If we want to know what colors look good together, we just need to look to nature. And you've captured is so beautifully!

  8. Now that is the kind of snow for me
Can drive with ease still at my sea
    And it isn't cold
Now if only it could turn to gold

    1. Gold would be better by far
It would make a ka-ching scooped in a jar.
      Or maybe a piggy bank.
      Better yet, a tank.
      lol....

    2. lol fill a tank would be grand
      Can share across the land

  10. Pretty in Pink....snow petals especially. I remember when we lived up North...when the wind blew the almond blossoms it looked like snow.

  12. So windy here yesterday we had a positive storm of cherry blossom snow.

For some reason it always makes me think of the Deanna Durbin movie Three Smart Girls. Not sure why.

    1. That brilliant pink is gone in just one day....the blossoms are turning brown and aren't as bright.
I think I caught it's last good day! The white blossomed crab apples are just opening now...so I'll
      have white snow, too!
