Kitchen Reno Day Four

I escaped to an auction today!
When I got home, more old flooring had been removed!
All of the base cabinetry had been installed,
along with the new sink, although the plumbing isn't done yet.
Everything is perfectly level, ready for the stone
men to come measure for the counter tops in the morning!

    1. Poor man...I think it will be smooth sailing after he gets up the rest of that plywood glued to the floor.

    2. His work is labour in the true sense of labour, isn't it? You are fortunate to have someone you trust, who is reliable, and knows what the heck he is doing! Yay, Kris!

  2. What an improvement already . . . . gosh how exciting!!! I feel it even from here across the pond.
    The stone men . . . . not Fred Flintstone and Barney lol . . . . let's see . . . are you having black granite work tops? . . . just a deduction !! . . . :)
Hope your day at the auction went well . . . :)

    1. I'm loving the sink! Had to laugh at Spencer tonight, though. The sink isn't hooked up to plumbing yet...just two open holes in the bowls. Spencer drank half his glass of water and dumped the rest down the sink...which just spilled into the new cabinet below. Oh dear..

  4. Well it looks a little less
Like it is a big mess haha
Getting there even without a working sink
Pretty soon it will no longer be a dust rink haha

    1. A dust rink is a good name
as we play the reno game.
Every stinking inch of this house needs
to be wipe, dusted and scrubbed clean.

  5. I wouldn't want to live through this myself, but it is fun to vicariously experience this through you. It is kind of like watching a live version of This Old House. :)
