Roof Top Surveillance Duty

I was sweeping off the front porch and happened to look up!
Looks like Slate has become the newest member of
security around here.  Look at that face!
He's taking the job very seriously!

    1. Eileen ~ there's almost always a cat on the roof here. It's kinda of hilarious. I always wonder what the neighbors think. :)

  9. It certainly looks as though he is concentrating on something!!! Good news on the laundry - shame that it doesn't last longer, but it is a great feeling isn't it!! Oh, I nearly forgot, great job on working out what WIP's are! xx

p.s. Eddie, WIP's are not anything scary!!!! It stands for Work in Progress in crafting terms!!

  10. This is priceless! He's showing you his appreciation for all you've done for him (minus the neutering, of course). :-) What a great little character! Did he get down on his own? If so, he gets bonus points. By the way, did Rocky ever return? Lynne in NC

    1. Yes, they get up through a tree who's branches reach the roof top and then down the same way. I've only rescued one cat from the roof...Cocoa on his first attempt and he was sooo little and scared he couldn't handle the downgrade of the roof...going up is so much easier than down! ha.

Rocky has never come back! I'm a little disappointed. He was such a handsome guy.

  16. At least he hasn't gotten himself trapped in that tree. My daughter's cat Yoda has had to be 'rescued' several times, lucky they have a really long extension ladder.

    1. That would be really bad here since we don't have an extension ladder! At least the older cats can show the newer ones how it's done.
