It certainly looks as though he is concentrating on something!!! Good news on the laundry - shame that it doesn't last longer, but it is a great feeling isn't it!! Oh, I nearly forgot, great job on working out what WIP's are! xx
p.s. Eddie, WIP's are not anything scary!!!! It stands for Work in Progress in crafting terms!!
This is priceless! He's showing you his appreciation for all you've done for him (minus the neutering, of course). :-) What a great little character! Did he get down on his own? If so, he gets bonus points. By the way, did Rocky ever return? Lynne in NC
Yes, they get up through a tree who's branches reach the roof top and then down the same way. I've only rescued one cat from the roof...Cocoa on his first attempt and he was sooo little and scared he couldn't handle the downgrade of the roof...going up is so much easier than down! ha.
Rocky has never come back! I'm a little disappointed. He was such a handsome guy.
Slate on the slates! Reminds me almost of "Cat on a hot tin roof!" except it isn't tin. Yes he would make a good sentry, "Halt! who goes there?" we wou;d say in BritLand. :)
At least he hasn't gotten himself trapped in that tree. My daughter's cat Yoda has had to be 'rescued' several times, lucky they have a really long extension ladder.
He really does! I should have given him a speech bubble! ha. Something about what he could see through the neighbor's window...lol....he looks like Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched! lol...
Ha! I think he has spotted a pesky squirrel in the closest tree.
ReplyDeleteHe looks very intent, doesn't he?
Deletehaha he sees something of note
ReplyDeleteOr something gets the scary vote

Deletewanting back his skin.

ReplyDeleteI was surprised he was still there when I came back with my camera!
DeleteThe better to see the birds.
ReplyDeleteyep....you can look them in the eye up there!
DeleteI was just telling Hannah it time to watch "Fiddler on the Roof" again.
DeleteCould his eyes get any bigger? Too funny. I don't think he is surveying... I think he is a-preying!
ReplyDeleteYes, you might be right!
DeleteHe does look serious! What a great photo! Happy weekend to you!
ReplyDeleteEileen ~ there's almost always a cat on the roof here. It's kinda of hilarious. I always wonder what the neighbors think. :)
DeleteHaha Slater is really funny!
ReplyDeleteLook him in the roof to!
He grow more!
He's still such a sweetie, too. He's one of our favorites!
DeleteHey Gloria, I'm using your honey mustard glaze on my grilled chicken tonight! yum!
DeleteAww Betsy you will love.!
DeleteI was thinking in make it again for tomorrow but Im not sure if I have chicken:)
My mom asked me the recipe too:)
I just have boneless, skinless breasts, but I think it will still be tasty!

DeleteYes, there's definitely something that's caught his attention.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he didn't leap off to get it! ha.

ReplyDeleteThat is so true! Round the clock protection! haha.
DeleteDon't be fooled. He is guarding HIS property and watching over his SERVANTS!
ReplyDeleteYes, you are probably right! I only think I own this house!
DeleteOn patrol!!
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteYep....I wonder how long his shift was!
DeleteNo time for a cat nap!
DeleteSlate on the slates!
ReplyDeleteReminds me almost of "Cat on a hot tin roof!" except it isn't tin.

Slate on the slates....lol...
DeleteHope he does not spend all night on the tiles !!!!
DeleteThe stop out!! ROFL
If I were walking up to your door, I'd think twice before going any further!
ReplyDeleteI think you would be fine...unless you were a bird or a squirrel. :)
DeleteI bet the birds are secure all right! Very cute photo. Have a great weekend. Taria
ReplyDeleteThanks Taria....hope yours is wonderful, too! ;)
DeleteAt least he hasn't gotten himself trapped in that tree. My daughter's cat Yoda has had to be 'rescued' several times, lucky they have a really long extension ladder.
ReplyDeleteThat would be really bad here since we don't have an extension ladder! At least the older cats can show the newer ones how it's done.
Deletehahahahaha..Slate really looks like a security guard, serious about his job..
ReplyDeleteDoesn't he? He is so funny! That face really cracks me up!
DeleteGreat angle. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, up was the only way to take the pic! ha.
DeleteI laugh every time I look at this... his expression is hilarious. Almost looks like a cartoon cat.
ReplyDeleteHe really does! I should have given him a speech bubble! ha. Something about what he could see through the neighbor's window...lol....he looks like Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched! lol...
DeleteHa! Exactly.
