Too cute. :)
Isn't he? :)
Better do as he says Betsy. My grandmother always said that cardinals could grant wishes. My grandfather always swore that the very first thing I said was "red bird". :-) Lynne in NC
Is that right! That is good to know! I love this little guy! He's been around for years all year long! He makes eye contact through the window and sings to me. I'm smitten. ha. I'd gladly trade bird seed for a wish! :)
Oh no!!! Neglecting the Cardinals!!! They must have heard that you have designs on an owl!!! xx
lol...oh, no...he'll always be my favorite. haha.
Can't have you breaking a Cardinal Rule!! Better do as he said!! lol
No! We could have nun of that!
Ahh! I see!! lol thought you'd done a typo! 'nun' love it!Well done, 'sister' :)
A typo? Parish the thought!
Obviously a clerical error!!
I'll have to confess it!
Can we a'spire' to this for much longer? Getting harder ad'mininiste'ring it! LOL
Maybe you should pray for stamina. lol...
Er! . . . . continue tomorrow . . . I feel as though I have climbed a steeple!Goodnight! :)
Yes, you do look as though you've had your bell rung. ha.
Cheeky! Well I do like someone who can ring my chimes! :)
Too funny - he is your birdie boyfriend! And doesn't he look handsome in that straight-on shot. I can never get over their vibrancy. Do you keep the feeders full in the spring/summer as well?
He is! He's so handsome, how can I not get weak knees. lol... Yes, I keep them full all year. He's spoiled!
He is indeed. And he knows it! I was just reading about feeding them at this time of year and the site I was on said "yes!" because a) the plants and bushes are not in full swing yet for them to eat from and b) they are mating and collecting and nesting in the spring and that takes even more energy. Makes sense and hadn't thought much about that!
yes, and I think they get in the habit of having the supply there...if you suddenly stop, it's really hard on them to find a new source.
I think he is, too!
And give him a Jack Nicholson voice. Perfect!
Oh, now THAT would be funny!
Geez slacking at your seaEven have a dot for a title, so lazy lol
I hate that they make you have a title each dayThat should be a decision for me to leave or take away! Why do they careif the title I want to leave bare?
So they can have a search engine chimeWithout a title google thinks its a crime
Oh, you are probably right! What will they do with my punctuation plight? ha.
He is nice Betsy and told you Doll like Silver! lol
Now if he was grey with a batman symbol on his chest, we'd really have to wonder, wouldn't we? lol....
Yes is true:)
What cheek! Who does he think he is?
Eddie of course!! lol
What??? I believe you wear a yellow costume, Ed. ;)Keith...he's usually a gentleman (the bird, not Eddie). I don't know where his manners were! I guess he was really hungry. The thing is, when I went out there with seed, the feeder wasn't completely empty...almost, but not totally barren. ha.
Oh! obviously a case of mistaken identity! LOL
Maybe you're the little gold finch that comes by? The one with the black beret? lol....
The French beret ah!! "Oui Madam! Agréable d'être avec vous!!!"
I had to translate that. haha. Why, thank you! :)
Enchante Ma belle et magnifique dame :)
ha.yeah whats taking you so longbirds gotta eat ya know.lol
That's exactly what that face is saying! lol...
Gloria, I was thinking the same thing. The Fox has morphed into a Cardinal!
Guess I better pull the blinds! lol....
Does the Mister approve of all these "flighty" relationships you are involved in!! HaHa. You are a doll, he got that right. My birds are not happy with me, as I've been so busy, I haven't bought more seed. I can take my humming bird feeder...they won't make a mess on a balcony, but the other birds will have to go next door, as she puts out lots of good seeds.
Oh, he knows I coo out the window at all of them, flirting shamelessly. lol....Well, it's good to know your birds can go next door! It will be fun to see if you get hummingbirds!
You had better hurry up and get on the J.O.B. ! LOL!
He looks like a drill master, doesn't he? ha.
HaHa...he does look like a drill master...a black beard drill master. HaHa
Good thing I talk 'bird' and knew what he said. lol....
Like you, I feed the birds all year...Less in the Summer....but...all year!It gives such pleasure, doesn't it?Now...hop to it....feed Mr Handsome!Cheers!Linda :o)Ps....your friend Keith visited me...He and Eddie make quite a pair,eh?
Keith is a sweetheart! And he can cook! He's quite the gourmet...even trained in France.A witty and charming gentleman. I think you'll like him! :)Yes, I do love my birds...sweet and entertaining and usually not demanding. haha.
What about Eddie? Isn't he a sweetheart? . . . . or a gentleman? Just joking, I know you and Linda do!! - not sure anout Gloria though! ROFL
Oh my gosh you nailed this one, too cute!!!!!
Isn't that expression hilarious? :)
Great pic and caption!
Thanks, Mildred! :) I couldn't resist putting words in his mouth.
If your garden birds are anything like mine in terms of their appetite (mine can't compare in colour) then it is a non-stop process keeping them fed at the moment. I have taken to buying cheap loafs from the Supermarket to feed them with.
It is non-stop! I can't believe how much they eat. I don't think they do anything else all day long!
Hi Betsy .. he/she does look a little spade lip like .. come on .. and I sure hope their feeder is full ... bless the soul .. lovely photo - cheers Hilary
He's so spoiled! The feeder gets a little low and he starts looking at me! ha.
I understand when birds talk to you.We have two bird baths. One for the crows and the other is for all the rest. When the crows don't have water in theirs, they all sit on the fence and "talk" to me. Telling me they need water.
Oh, that is funny! How nice of the crows not to raid the other bath! haha.
So, where was Mrs. Cardinal while Mr. Cardinal was making his demands?
Maybe she was sitting on a nest?
I'm serving coffee! Stay and chat! And no awards, please! Your comments are my awards!
