Hmmmmmmmm I think that you are just trying to make our one flower clematis jealous!! It really is beautiful and is obviously very happy growing there and must look so beautiful for you and passers by to see. Love it! xx
It has never looked like this before! It's like a monster! ha.
You must have done something real special to make it bloom like that! Beautiful - did you feed it?
I did nothing....didn't even feed it! I'm amazed! It just took off! 2 years ago we cut it down to the ground in the fall ....but nothing this year.
You must have talked to it nicely :)
I must admit that I have been known to talk to plants....even inanimate objects...but I try to do that without any onlookers so I don't get taken away in a straight jacket. lol....
Do you get any answers? LOL
Wow! she is more beautiful now Betsy! Look georgeous!!
I know! She's amazing! Maybe it was just the right balance of sunshine and rain.
yes and the spring all in this time is blossom that is the beauty! If you look my roses:( almost I don't have happens always in this time.
An Esperanza put yesterday the bunnies in the grass to clean their jail (yes terrible) and I have to looking them because they love to eat the roses:)
It seems like flowers are at their very best just before the frost gets them! It is sad!The bunnies were probably very happy to have a clean cage. Nugget loves to eat flowers, too!
Yes and they had s lot of grass but they love eat flowers.lol
flowers must be like dessert to them! ha.
Yes I think so maybe they are bored with lettuces and carrots lol
Just like kids! haha.
Isn't it? I can't get over it! I hope this happens next year, too!
Unbelievable. A Queen's skirt!
Exactly! I love the shape of it!
She looks like a giant bridal bouquet. Or maybe the bridesmaids dress... Just stunning.
A bridesmaid's dress...I love that!
If I were that stunning I'd be showing off, too :-)Do clematis bloom all season, or just in the spring?
Just in the spring. Then they just look like a climbing ivy the rest of the season. Too bad! I'm trying to enjoy it while it's here!
oh what a beautiful dress she is wearing....
just like a ball gown! :)
She wants more screen timeSuch a prima dona in her prime
Soon a strong wind will blowand away the flowers will go!ha.
Just gorgeous! I loved the hanging plant and wicker planter too.
I'm still loving that planter. I hope I can keep those geraniums alive this summer. :)
Very impressive. Betsy!
Isn't it? I really can't take any credit..I've done nothing for her! But I'm glad she's happy in that spot!
This is just beautiful - and I have never seen clematis before. My husband's childhood home was on a street named Clematis Lane, and he always wondered what it looked like. I showed this to him so now we both know. You're entertaining and educational!
Clematis Lane sounds so charming. They are very popular here climbing up a trellis or a mailbox. I wonder if that street was at one time full of them!
"Onlooker's envy, owner's pride".....:)
haha....exactly. I wish you could grow one there!
Hi Betsy ..frankly I'm not surprised .. just amazing to see .. beautiful .. cheers Hilary
Clematis do well in England, too, I know...all that rain. Gee...everything does well there! We have to water and water so things don't die.
It's gorgeous! If I had any bluebirds I might trade you.:0)
I might have taken you up on that one!
Good golly, that is an amazing plant. Looks very happy with your placement and treatment. Wow. You all have a great weekend.Taria
