Clematis

    1. I did nothing....didn't even feed it! I'm amazed! It just took off! 2 years ago we cut it down to the ground in the fall ....but nothing this year.

    3. I must admit that I have been known to talk to plants....even inanimate objects...but I try to do that without any onlookers so I don't get taken away in a straight jacket. lol....

    3. An Esperanza put yesterday the bunnies in the grass to clean their jail (yes terrible) and I have to looking them because
      they love to eat the roses:)

    4. It seems like flowers are at their very best just before the frost gets them! It is sad!

      The bunnies were probably very happy to have a clean cage. Nugget loves to eat flowers, too!

    1. Just in the spring. Then they just look like a climbing ivy the rest of the season. Too bad! I'm trying to enjoy it while it's here!

  12. This is just beautiful - and I have never seen clematis before. My husband's childhood home was on a street named Clematis Lane, and he always wondered what it looked like. I showed this to him so now we both know. You're entertaining and educational!

    1. Clematis Lane sounds so charming. They are very popular here climbing up a trellis or a mailbox. I wonder if that street was at one time full of them!
