Hmmmmmmmm I think that you are just trying to make our one flower clematis jealous!! It really is beautiful and is obviously very happy growing there and must look so beautiful for you and passers by to see. Love it! xx
I must admit that I have been known to talk to plants....even inanimate objects...but I try to do that without any onlookers so I don't get taken away in a straight jacket. lol....
This is just beautiful - and I have never seen clematis before. My husband's childhood home was on a street named Clematis Lane, and he always wondered what it looked like. I showed this to him so now we both know. You're entertaining and educational!

ReplyDeleteI did nothing....didn't even feed it! I'm amazed! It just took off! 2 years ago we cut it down to the ground in the fall ....but nothing this year.

Just in the spring. Then they just look like a climbing ivy the rest of the season. Too bad! I'm trying to enjoy it while it's here!

ReplyDeleteClematis Lane sounds so charming. They are very popular here climbing up a trellis or a mailbox. I wonder if that street was at one time full of them!
