Today

  1. I had hidden a large box of Tootsie Pops from the boys under my desk. This morning, Nugget found it! He chewed it open and was enjoying unwrapping a few suckers. He chose green ones to unwrap. I thought that was odd until I remembered that he is vegetarian, after all. :)
  2. I shopped all day for my gift basket making. The dining room is now an assembly line and workshop. Mrs. DoLittle has turned into Mrs. Claus for the week. :)
  3. It's been pouring rain for days now. There's a new pond outside in the yard!
  4. The last of the Thanksgiving leftovers turned into turkey and rice soup.
  5. The last of the rolls turned into chocolate bread pudding! Google Paula Deen's recipe if you're interested.

What did you do today?

  3. We have that same kind of pond in our side yard. And, then it turned to snow this morning. Mother Nature certainly if fickle lately.

  4. Snow? oh wow. We are in the low 30's right now, so that is very possible by morning here!

  5. I'm with The Silver Fox; I thought I'd lost a day this week when I saw your collage!

Nugget likes green suckers, and Spencer's partial to purple ones. Anyone else have favorites in your house?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Kathy ~ yep...Harry likes the red ones. Actually Spencer likes the brown ones...the purple ones get lined up because they aren't anyone's favorite to eat. ha. Alex doesn't eat any!

  7. Would just love to try some Tootsie Pops. I don't think we have them in UK. And I would not stop at green - no colour would be safe LOL
What did I do today, you ask?
Helped Mrs Bluelights and vacuumed the carpets.
See we sometimes have our uses ROFL
    Cheers ~ Eddie

What I did today? Feel like I spend the day in the car. I drove 90 miles to work just to find out that the lab was closed as the ventilation was down, so I drove those 90 miles back again. Phew.
At least for once I drove home from work in daylight and sunshine.;) And have finally some time to blog.;)

  33. Yum, could just relish that soup. I haven't decided what's for dinner yet. Me, I've been at work all day - though many people were on strike. Those of us that chose to work had a quiet, peaceful day!

  34. Can't wait to see the finished baskets...the ingredients look good.
We have a new lake in the field behind us, too. It rained all night Monday and Tuesday morning. Then turned to snow all afternoon...the really big, fluffy snowflakes.
