Is that a riverbirch tree. Looks like the one in my front yard. Beautiful photo. Nothing but rain here for three days no photo taking for me. Plenty to do inside. QMM
Betsy, that's actually Mrs. Woodpecker. What you have there is a female Downy Woodpecker; gthe males have a red patch on the head while females are just black & white. Nice shot, though!
hahaha getting your sexes mixed up Quite the little hiccup And you are going to peck away? Oh the things you say But I know what you mean Keepig things ever so clean I can't make fun of that Soothes the ocd of Pat..hahaha Great shot too The cat looked and was drooling, it's true

Hello, Please allow me to introduce myself...I am Grace.
Thank you for posting your blog for the world to read; it is very encouraging.
One of the cousins in our extended family is autistic and for over two decades now I have watched in wonder at the struggles associated with just ONE special needs child.
The Lord Must Have Brought You, Your Spouse & Your whole family through an amazing faith journey.
You are such an inspiration.
Love the woodpecker photo and the quote you selected is just perfect...it fits. The Woodpecker is pretty much single-minded in his pursuit of the prize. (I suspect that there is a scriptural application there somewhere)
What a great shot...you have such an eye for beauty..and in your back yard too. Using your head, good advice....following through till the jobs done....words to live by.
