- I worked an auction today. Four days of rain turned into a dusting of snow over night. The sun was trying to break through the clouds at the horizon while I was driving this morning.
- Xenia, Ohio is decked out in holiday spirit!
- This man reminded me of a Disney character. Any guesses?
- It was a nice auction, but nothing really fun to report. I did pick up a few things. I may share another day.
- So did you guess one of the seven dwarfs? Dopey, maybe? :)
♥
I was too nice to call him Dopey. I was going for Doc.
ReplyDeleteHa! First.
ReplyDeleteTry for three?
ReplyDeleteAre you saying I'm not nice?
ReplyDeleteUhhhh.... No. No. I was... ummm... misquoted.
ReplyDeleteIs Xenia pronounced like Xena warrior princess
ReplyDeleteThat would be funny I must confess
We got your rain today
A whole friggin crap load at our bay
Was coming down so hard it hurt
I guess the rain wanted to flirt
I knew it was a dwarf as I said high ho
But he could also be Geppeto
From Pinnocho
Don't you know
@Pat: Is that so?
ReplyDeleteYep, Pat...that rain did hurt!
ReplyDeleteIt poured like that all day when I was shopping, to boot!
Oh, Geppeto! That's a good one!
He could have been any of those, just for fun!

ReplyDeleteLOL! Well, maybe. ;) blessings ~ tanna

Goodmorning Betsy! We are having the same weather here.I loved seeing the snow flakes yesterday much better than rain anyday.Rain in the winter isnt a favorite thing of mine lol.
ReplyDeleteI would say that guy looks more like Geppeto.Maybe hes a relation some where down the line LOL.
Have a great Thursday!

ReplyDeleteI SO ENJOY the auctions Betsy! Love to hang out! Dopey was a goofy character FOR SURE!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePapa Smurf! LOL!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Doc to me and you could be Snow White!
ReplyDeleteLove how you get "treasures".
Too cute! I'm thinking he looks like Doc too. Have a wonderful day Friend. XO
ReplyDeleteHa--my hubby wears his hat like that. Now I know what to call him. Papa Smurf. :) I don't think he would appreciate Dopey. :P
ReplyDeleteRebecca ~ maybe "Doc" would be the best bet. lol...
ReplyDeleteOh no,it's definately Papa Smurf. He's 6'4" so the irony of the name is what makes it funny.
ReplyDeleteRebecca ~ oh, that's so funny! :)
ReplyDeleteBetsy perhaps doc is good or we dont know grumpy? Im kidding probably is a nice an kind man:)
ReplyDeleteGloria ~ he wasn't exactly pleasant, so maybe Grumpy would fit! HA.

I already knew that, too~ thanks to you!
ReplyDeleteLOL.....
ReplyDeleteReading your sidebar about the jewel and the pebble reminded me of the Tom Waits song with the phrase...Always keep a sapphire in your mind, always keep a diamond in your mind.
ReplyDeleteIn answer to Pat Hatt's question about the pronunciation of Xenia...my grandpa who used to live there always pronounced it
ReplyDelete'zenee'
Have you heard that, Betsy?
Kim ~ no, I've never heard that! Everyone here says it like Zeen-ya. :)
ReplyDeleteMy Grandpa was probably putting the Illinois twist on it!
