- I had hidden a large box of Tootsie Pops from the boys under my desk. This morning, Nugget found it! He chewed it open and was enjoying unwrapping a few suckers. He chose green ones to unwrap. I thought that was odd until I remembered that he is vegetarian, after all. :)
- I shopped all day for my gift basket making. The dining room is now an assembly line and workshop. Mrs. DoLittle has turned into Mrs. Claus for the week. :)
- It's been pouring rain for days now. There's a new pond outside in the yard!
- The last of the Thanksgiving leftovers turned into turkey and rice soup.
- The last of the rolls turned into chocolate bread pudding! Google Paula Deen's recipe if you're interested.
What did you do today?
♥
Saw the collage and almost thought it was Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteha...nope, it's only Tuesday! If the auction is really interesting tomorrow, maybe there will be another collage!
ReplyDeleteWe have that same kind of pond in our side yard. And, then it turned to snow this morning. Mother Nature certainly if fickle lately.
ReplyDeleteSnow? oh wow. We are in the low 30's right now, so that is very possible by morning here!
ReplyDeleteI'm with The Silver Fox; I thought I'd lost a day this week when I saw your collage!
ReplyDeleteNugget likes green suckers, and Spencer's partial to purple ones. Anyone else have favorites in your house?
Kathy ~ yep...Harry likes the red ones. Actually Spencer likes the brown ones...the purple ones get lined up because they aren't anyone's favorite to eat. ha. Alex doesn't eat any!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE bread pudding!!!
ReplyDeleteWould just love to try some Tootsie Pops. I don't think we have them in UK. And I would not stop at green - no colour would be safe LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat did I do today, you ask?
Helped Mrs Bluelights and vacuumed the carpets.
See we sometimes have our uses ROFL
Cheers ~ Eddie
Otin ~ let me serve you a slice! Coffee, too? :)
ReplyDeleteEddie ~ that's just like you to be sweet and help around the house! :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful collage, made me smile for sure, I love when you recount what you did all day, its like being snoopy but its OK, did that make sense,, not likely but I enjoyed the post,
ReplyDeleteHad a case worker visit, and homeschooled, and did a little laundry. What a little stinker that bunny is. :)
ReplyDeletehaha..yes, laurie...but it's not snoopy, since I volunteered the information. :)
ReplyDeleteRebecca ~ you had a full day, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it is a lot of work to put together all the baskets, but it also sounds like fun! Do we get to see photos of the finished projects?
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling looking at Nugget and the lollipops :)
ReplyDeleteThe soup looks so delicious, especially on a cold, rainy night.
That's a lot of little gifts to tuck away in the baskets, oh, what fun to create them !
~Jo
Yeah, I'll show some photos, MaryElizabeth! Probably by the weekend!
ReplyDeletePlayed with the Little Men!! Woo hoo!

oo so the assembly line is ready to go...haha on the bunny...please dont say turkey any time soon...
ReplyDeleteBrian ~ we are done with the turkey! ha. Didn't even put any in the freezer this year!
ReplyDeleteToday I changed several stinky diapers, tried hard to stay awake during nap time, hugged four small children, and finished sewing a sweater mitten together.
ReplyDeleteHow's that?
Martha ~ that's wonderful...except the stinky diapers. ha. I love sweater mittens! I have a stack of old sweaters just waiting for transformation!
ReplyDeletehaha Nugget looks to be having a ball
ReplyDeleteGiving the green suckers a call
It is Christmas time too
Maybe he was just feeling festive at your zoo
Or should I say workshop for the week
Looks like your back yard is quite the creek
Snow or tons of rain
Both are quite the pain
Error 503
That's all FIVE time blogger let me see..haha
Today I finally got all the decorations up the boxes put away...threw out the dried up stuffing that was pushed to the back of the refrig. Wishing I had a little chocolate bread pudding as a reward for all my efforts. (0:

ReplyDeleteYum, could just relish that soup. I haven't decided what's for dinner yet. Me, I've been at work all day - though many people were on strike. Those of us that chose to work had a quiet, peaceful day!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the finished baskets...the ingredients look good.
ReplyDeleteWe have a new lake in the field behind us, too. It rained all night Monday and Tuesday morning. Then turned to snow all afternoon...the really big, fluffy snowflakes.
You (your life) keeps me in stitches!
ReplyDeleteOnly the GREEN ones, that is funny.
How many gift baskets? You are a busy lady.
Not out in Globland with a new post to see
ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't get sucked into a port a pottie..hahaha
Aw Pat..you're missing me today? I'm writing a post right now about my Wednesday.

Because you know I've missed you, too!
I love the organized table of goodies ready for packing! It SPEAKS to me!
