Oh how funny!!! I was wondering too...what kind of animals those were. Aren't we funny folks sometimes?! Thanks for the grins and sharing - you brightened my day. We have been iced in today and maybe for the next few days. As long as I don't lose power, I can be happy right here in my favorite chair. =)
haha, this was awesome! my daughter posted on facebook yesterday a picture of TWO raccoons on her porch eating her cat food...so when i saw your post title I thought, man talk about an overun of raccoons! LOL
Silver ~ you mean it's age? lol...here I was blaming it on weather, distance and...oh well, I guess you're right! ha. I suppose when I'm as ancient as you I won't see the car at all. (ducks)
Every time we drive down the dirt road on the way home to our subdivision at night, there is a mailbox that I think is a deer. Still after over two years I can freak myself out.
You capture well what occurs to us all: seeing things thanks to our keen powers of observation and imagination. I am always "seeing things" on my walks.
Kayren ~ I do that with mail boxes all the time on our back country roads. Of course, we always look for deer in the road when we are driving anyway, so it's just an immediate reaction.
Well I sure would not have been surprised our here at all! Both get into my garage and under my desk all the time. The dog, well she sure doesn't like it and the Cat tried to 'get' a skunk last year. Stopped her within a second of getting her and Me! haha... Hugs, Coreen
Lol, it certainly looks like both of those, isn't it funny how our eyes play tricks on us :)
ReplyDeleteWe are getting the blowing rain right now !
Hugs ~Jo

ReplyDeleteThank goodness, we had sunshine today, and a couple more flowers popped out of the ground.
Well, yes...they certainly COULD HAVE been there...WHAT a YUKKY day!!! BRRRRR! Wonder what tomorrow a.m. will bring!
ReplyDeleteMel~ I've seen both skunks and raccoons in our backyard, so it wasn't too far fetched for me to think they were there this time! :)
ReplyDeleteThe older I get, the more my eyes play tricks on me. Of course, I'm not implying that your eyes are getting old, I just... ummm...
ReplyDeleteOh, never mind.

ReplyDeleteAnita ~ you're the second person to mention my age, so it must be true! LOL! Oh dear!
ReplyDeleteWild boar? Now that is even funnier!
Kayren ~ I do that with mail boxes all the time on our back country roads. Of course, we always look for deer in the road when we are driving anyway, so it's just an immediate reaction.
ReplyDeleteLOL, thats some optical illusion all right. U got me there!
ReplyDeleteFunny how you make rainy, sleeting, snowy days feel inviting and warm. Love your mirage story.
