Spencer's assignment for school was to make
a pitcher of kool-ade from a powdered mix.
First you add water...
then you open the mix package...
so everyone knows you don't like drink mixes!
And pour a glassful! As I put the camera down, he took one sip and
poured the rest in the sink! lol.
Thanks for the effort anyway, Spence.
♥
That was great! Spencer really looked unhappy with the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteRight. He certainly had to be prompted...although he knew how to do it. He was afraid I would make him drink it! He's a water only kinda kid.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Betsy, was it grapefruit juice flavored ...lol
ReplyDeletePoor Spencer, he really wasn't happy about the whole experiment !
Your boys are such great sports ;)
Give him an 'A' for effort.
Hugs,
~Jo
I love his debonair look about the drink mix! Great job he did! Love that he poured it all down the drain!
ReplyDeletenice...yeah you could tell he was not too thrilled...but good job...
ReplyDeleteMy brother would probably drink the entire pitcher.
ReplyDeleteMartha ~ so would Alex. But not Spencer! ha.
ReplyDeleteHarry the silverware drawer, and Spencer the kool aid. I think Harry looked happier.
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle as I could imagine the look on his face at the sip of koolaid...and the smile as he poured the rest down the drain...HaHa The effort was excellent.
These pictures are just pricless.
It looks like Spencer can make Kool-Ade without even looking.
ReplyDeleteLove the well coiffured hair.
Christine ~ he's freshly shampooed, in his jammies, and ready for bed. :) Not ready to enjoy that drink, though!
ReplyDeleteCame by to visit and I am so glad I did. Your blog made me smile, love all of it.

Interesting pouring technique... but job well done. (The instructions don't say look happy while you do it!) Being a water-only kid is probably healthier too. Great work Spencer!
ReplyDeleteI give him an "A" for effort too! What faces he made! Ha! Poor Spencer...just didn't like it at all!
ReplyDeleteGotta love it!
Hugs

I love Spencer's expression in the third picture. At least he gave it a go.
ReplyDeleteI know how he feels, I really don't like tomato ketchup and never handle the bottle if I can help it!
It is GOOD to be a water only kind of kid! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe peach cookies are very attractive!
I agree with Spencer! I don't like drink mixes either
ReplyDelete:-)
hahahaha Oh, poor Spencer! Next you'll have to teach him to mix martinis!
ReplyDeleteSo very different to Harry's look of pleased accomplishment.
*hugs for Spencer*
A set of pictures and a few words : but, my goodness don't they convey a pitcher full of love.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou've covered both Spencer's and Harry's homework. Hope you're going to show us something Alex did, too.
I'm with Spencer on that one but being a Brit 'Kool Aid" is a strange thing anyway!
ReplyDeleteHe was glad to be DONE with that! At least he TRIED it...but NOPE...it was NOT good.
ReplyDelete;)
Spencer did a good job with a task he didn't really want to do! I haven't tasted Kool-Aid in decades :)
ReplyDeleteWell, Pat, you aren't missing anything, let me tell you! lol
ReplyDeleteLol, that was funny! At least the effort was there!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Spencer on those drinks. Down the drain was the best place for the stuff!
ReplyDeleteI think that face could be for mom taking the pictures as much as not liking the drink! :)
ReplyDeleteLove how he doesn't use the pourer! I share his dislike of pre mixed powdered drinks. Blegh
ReplyDeletecan I just say ..i do not like them either...good lesson though!!
ReplyDeleteHis face says it all. Cute. Like his new combed hairstyle. Well, at least it looks very groomed for the photos. Quite debonair really.
