These cookies are such a classic and a favorite of mine. I love how fudgy they are and your crinkled tops are so nice. Thanks for linking this up to Sweets for a Saturday.

ReplyDeleteThe cookies look wonderful, will give them a try... but your link didn't work for me. Will try again later.
ReplyDeleteThey look amazingly delicious! I'll have to get my mom (a.k.a. Mommy2 from 2 Moms of a Feather)to make them! :) I would try, but I know I'll just end up burning them, miss an ingredient or something that will ruin them. I'm not the best of cookers or bakers. lol
ReplyDeleteHi Chastity...yes, get her to bake them for you! Eating them is the best part anyway! ha.

love the illustration on your side bar. That would make an adorable card! xo
The cookies look delish (like all of your food does), but I'm curious about the plate. It looks like it was hand painted. Is there a story behind it?
ReplyDeletestevie ~ that's a little handpainted trivet I picked up a few years ago. It's dated '71...on it's way to being vintage soon enough! haha

ReplyDeleteBetsy, I took china painting lessons for about a year in the early 80s. I recognized the look. I painted a about a dozen or more things, but most of them have gotten broken over the years. I still have my cherry plate, I think.
ReplyDeleteStevie ~ I have a small collection of handpainted cherry plates! I think they are my favorite! You should post yours sometime. I'd love to see it!
