Wednesday I got to work for my auctioneer friends again!
This one was offsite so we were in the custom outfitted van
for our office. This was my view for most of the day..except
there was usually a line of bidders at my window
waiting to be registered and get their bidder numbers.
Then near the end, they are all lined up again to pay for
for the stuff they won! :) Do you
recognize that beautiful black Jeep Commander?
Yep...I had a good parking spot and kept my eye on it
all day! LOL! A huge thunderstorm blew through and
I'm so glad I didn't have the sunroof open! ha.
The day was fun, although the 95 degrees and high
humidity wasn't! I'm ready for jeans and sweaters!
Great view! Great 4 Wheeler!
ReplyDeleteI'm in jeans, sweater & ugg boots today...so cold & windy here in Brisbane.
I am ready for sweaters too. enough hot weather now for me but then again my capacity is pretty low there, must admit. :)
ReplyDeleteLove that Commando of yours. What fun trips you could have in that...of only you coudl ever get the time, right?
ReplyDeleteLooks like an interesting day of work.
ReplyDeleteWe had a friend up North that was an auctioneer for cattle... I love to hear him rattle off his bidding!
I remember those older posts, so I can see why you kept a close eye on it. I don't blame you.
ReplyDeletesmiles. so you are liking the new wheels...
ReplyDeleteIm with you on the Jeans and sweater much to HOT and HUMId these days. All summer in fact.Oh fall cant be very far off,lol I hope not.Happy rest of the week Betsy!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! 'Course, I'm always ready fae th' cooler weather ;)
ReplyDeleteMmm ~ it's commanDER, dear...not commanDO. LOL! And yes, a road trip in it would be like a dream!
ReplyDeleteI REALLY want cooler weather to come...even a "normal" 89 degrees would be better than today's expected 99 with high humidity!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day at work. I'm tired of the heat as well but I don't think I am ready for sweaters. lol
ReplyDeleteWould take the 95 degrees these days. We're looking at 100+ temps and what feels like 200% humidity. So ready for fall!
ReplyDeleteI'm a jeans and sweater kinda girl too...one might wonder what the heck I'm doing living in Phoenix!
ReplyDeleteDid you get to bid on anything at the auction?
95 degrees and high humidity! After a few warm days back in June the summer over here has been as miserable as ever. It is cold and it is wet and I would give a lot for that 95 degrees - high humidity or not.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you had some fun, along with a little $$$$.
ReplyDeleteWeather,is like hair, nobody is happy.
Alan ~ let's trade! I'd rather be cold! ha.
ReplyDeleteChristine ~ humidity and my hair do NOT go together! ha.
ReplyDeleteIt would be awful stuck in that office in 95 degree heat! Glad you're enjoying the auction days! Very nice jeep!
ReplyDeletei was just thinking today that i haven't been to an auction all year. maybe we'll run into each other one day!
ReplyDeleteAuctions are such a mysterious busy place as things are auctioned away one item at a time. I like them.
ReplyDeletejeans and sweaters??
ReplyDeleteOh, not just yet!

It is hot there! The entire U.S. has been hot, including us, but not as bad as you even. We have had some humidity, which is practically unheard of here.
