What a beautiful fruit, on the inside of course :) Can you imagine what was going through the mind of the first person, who thought him/herself so brave, as to study a kiwi, all hairy and round, and decide "I'm going to eat this"....lol
I love kiwi now, but for a while the textured seeds on the inside were a problem for me. I suppose it's a sign I've grown up. Of course the first time I had one I was already a grown up, but we just won't go there.
I completely agree. Same thing can be said about people, too.
ReplyDeletekathy ~ LOL! Well, the inside IS more important...in both cases! :)
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't know, or were brave enough to check out the inside, we'd never enjoy the wonderment of Kiwi!
ReplyDeleteespecially kiwi! but i like to eat the fuzzy skin as well..it gives it tartness...

ReplyDeleteUnlike Brian, I never tried eating the skin, too... but ah jest luuuuvs me some kiwi!
ReplyDeleteI embarrassed to admit that I didn't even know you COULD eat the skin...we love "ki-weed" as my youngest calls it :)

ReplyDeleteLOL! So true! In all genres.
ReplyDeleteWow, that does look good! And I also had no idea you could eat the skin, not sure why you would want to though, all hairy and fuzzy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pic
Aww, so true! Brightened my day for sure :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bowl of fruit.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Magpie. There is something nice about naked kiwis.
They are so pretty on the inside. Its almost a shame to eat them.
ReplyDeleteWho would ever think kiwis could be so pretty when viewed only from the outside? They are supposed to be super good for you too.
ReplyDeleteps....I just wanted you to know I was thinking and praying for you.
ReplyDeleteyour Morning Glories are awesome.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Other examples are musk melon, star fruit, and pomegranate.

ReplyDeleteI just love kiwi...to look at and to eat. I'll take mine without the fuzz, thank you!
