Who's Bleeding??? And Excuse the Gruesome Pics

I woke up this morning to this bloody washcloth!
Still groggy and stumbling through the house in my
nightgown, without my contacts in, I kept saying,
"Who is bleeding?" Of course, three non-verbal
boys didn't answer! LOL!
So, I went through the rooms looking for a body or
a mess....and then I found Spencer at my computer desk.

"What happened to you? Did your nose bleed?", I asked with wide eyes!

"Mose", (nose) Spencer nods. You just gotta laugh around here or you'll go crazy! LOL!

  4. isn't it amazing how much a nose can bleed?
my son Jimmy is 27 and he still gets nosebleeds sometimes.

how nice that Spencer stayed so calm about the whole thing.

  5. Rhonda ~ Taylor and Spencer are the only ones that get them! Usually only in the winter, so this one was a surprise. Good grief!

  7. Wanda ~ I know! It's funny..I talk to them like they're going to answer! And I wasn't sure what I was going to find either!

But did you notice that like any good blogger, I took pictures before I cleaned him up? LOL!

  11. Yes, I was impressed with how you recorded the scene for the blog before cleaning it up. For that you get a blogging Order of Merit (which means that you can now use the letters OM after your name)

  13. At least the bleeding wasn't excessive. (I was expecting deep lacerations or something...) Laughter is a must when dealing with children, otherwise we would be crying ALL the time.

  15. Alan ~ haha...love that! And please know everybody that IF spencer was STILL bleeding when I found him I would certainly have tended to the poor boy before snapping pics! LOL! As it was, it was just so funny and he was fine.

  23. That is a scary scenario to wake up to. Hope he is okay. Nosebleeds are not only a pain but can be serious if you have them often.

  26. I love hearing the stories about the boys, etc. I'm so glad that Spencer is saying so many words. I'm looking forward to sentences from him someday. I enjoy the blog, too, all of it. Even though I'm glad for time off and trying to get a lot done, mostly cleaning up the clutter that piled up while I was working, I am also a bit bored!
