Still groggy and stumbling through the house in my
nightgown, without my contacts in, I kept saying,
"Who is bleeding?" Of course, three non-verbal
boys didn't answer! LOL!
a mess....and then I found Spencer at my computer desk.
"What happened to you? Did your nose bleed?", I asked with wide eyes!
"Mose", (nose) Spencer nods. You just gotta laugh around here or you'll go crazy! LOL!
Looks a little like a crime scene.
ReplyDeleteOMG does he have them often ?
ReplyDeleteAt least he tried to hold the washcloth up to his nose ;)
Oh, dear! Glad you woke up with a sense of humor
ReplyDeleteisn't it amazing how much a nose can bleed?
ReplyDeletemy son Jimmy is 27 and he still gets nosebleeds sometimes.
how nice that Spencer stayed so calm about the whole thing.
Rhonda ~ Taylor and Spencer are the only ones that get them! Usually only in the winter, so this one was a surprise. Good grief!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Betsy....next I expected to see the yellow caution tape....
ReplyDeleteSorry, but I had to laugh when you said you were stumbling through the house in your nightgown saying.."Who is bleeding....."
I love how you handle life...You are an angel in Betsy skin.
Wanda ~ I know! It's funny..I talk to them like they're going to answer! And I wasn't sure what I was going to find either!
ReplyDeleteBut did you notice that like any good blogger, I took pictures before I cleaned him up? LOL!
smiles. my oldest gets nose bleeds but they freak him out so we would have heard it middle of the night or otherwise...
ReplyDeleteYou handled things like a trooper and yes, I noticed pictures were taken before cleanup...that's a true blogger!
ReplyDeleteExcellent detective work Betsy. You've just been promoted to Chief Inspector!!
ReplyDeleteMillie ^_^
Yes, I was impressed with how you recorded the scene for the blog before cleaning it up. For that you get a blogging Order of Merit (which means that you can now use the letters OM after your name)
ReplyDeleteHope Spencer recovered ok. I can tell there will never be a lack of things to post about in your busy life . . .
ReplyDeleteAt least the bleeding wasn't excessive. (I was expecting deep lacerations or something...) Laughter is a must when dealing with children, otherwise we would be crying ALL the time.
ReplyDeleteI thought only nurses do blood work; oh, yes, and mothers too.
ReplyDeleteAlan ~ haha...love that! And please know everybody that IF spencer was STILL bleeding when I found him I would certainly have tended to the poor boy before snapping pics! LOL! As it was, it was just so funny and he was fine.
ReplyDeleteI know people who pay good money for T shirts like that.
ReplyDeletei love that you got pics!! you are a GOOD BLOGGER!! i cannot WAIT to get a proper camera...geez louise. ours doesn't really work in doors anymore. merci just had a nose bleed yesterday...it's always so random?
ReplyDeleteBless his heart!
ReplyDeleteOh MY! That's when you REALLY have to know your kids and which one to hunt down, so to speak. Laughter does save the mind.
ReplyDeleteOMG! A Nose bleed. They can be really messy. Hope he's alright now.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day...:)
Noses Also Run In My Family.
ReplyDeleteTony ~ glad to hear we aren't the only ones! ha.
ReplyDeleteThat is a scary scenario to wake up to. Hope he is okay. Nosebleeds are not only a pain but can be serious if you have them often.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm so glad it wasn't a body!
ReplyDeleteIf a bloody kid can be sweet, Spencer is!!
ReplyDeleteI love hearing the stories about the boys, etc. I'm so glad that Spencer is saying so many words. I'm looking forward to sentences from him someday. I enjoy the blog, too, all of it. Even though I'm glad for time off and trying to get a lot done, mostly cleaning up the clutter that piled up while I was working, I am also a bit bored!
ReplyDeleteMrs Howe ~ so nice of you to visit my blog and comment! :) I'm looking forward to those sentences, too!
ReplyDeleteGlad he is OK. I love how he said "mose" - precious!
ReplyDeleteEeeew my goodness. Thank you for always keeping it real.
