Rugelach

Cream cheese dough, apricot preserves and pecans. The only thing that made them sweeter was my tiny milk glass stand found at the thrift store last week. For $1.99, it was begging to come home with me! For the recipe from Ina Garten, click here!

  1. I'd never heard of rugelach until I lived in Ohio, but I fell in love with it very quickly. It's hard to find it at all in Small Town, Southeast, thanks for pointing out the recipe. And I love your stand!

They would be called "Apricot horns" in danish and there is a variation of a salty ones as well.;)

  12. $1.99! Great find! Those rolls look very good as well. I can almost taste them. The name is odd to me. Is there a story behind the name? I, like Mod Girl, had never heard of it.

  19. I've had these (bakery bought) and they are very delicious. Perfect for when you are in the mood for something sweet and fruity, but not something heavy or with chocolate.
