THIS tree and these birds give you the excuse you need to sit at your computer ALL DAY! How lovely!! This is a little touch of heaven that God has given you! A true gift!
Absolutely love the top picture; I can not believe you have a view like this! I would sit at my computer the whole day.;)) Absolutely stunning... I love when birds are nesting in my garden as it means the place is serene enough for them to feel safe. Thank you for your lovely compliment at my place earlier today.;)
Very pretty, and your eyes are better than mine, even with the words for a visual aid. Is that what was blooming in the background of my pond picture with the goslings?
Kayren ~ I tried to find your old post with those trees, but I couldn't. I remember at the time seeing it and thinking those trees were pear. Whatever they were, they were pretty!
Betsy, the views inside and outside of your home are always so beautiful. I wish I could just visit and soak it all in (and while I'm there have one of your yummy culinary creations...or two!) :)
Wow, what an INCREDIBLE view--I can almost smell the blossoms. Nothing here is blossoming yet, barely popping out of the ground even. As it is I look at a wall adn a parking lot form my desk! I will think of your lovely tree and breath in all the peace that brings. Ahh....
Your view from the computer is so beautiful. I love that window. That tree is so pretty and protecting the little family. Can you hear the little babies yet? Don't you just love birds? They seem so carefree.
Nanatrish ~ I can't hear the babies...I should open the window and try! I'm sure they are loud! I have another nest by the front door and we've had it open during the day and I can hear them all over the house! :) Glad you stopped by! Hope you're feeling better!
By the way, Betsy, I wanted to let you know that a few weeks ago I made your broccoli salad, the one with bacon and sunflower seeds in the mayo dressing. I had printed it off when you originally posted it, and filed it in my bloggy binder under "recipes" but had never gotten around to trying it until that night. My daughter was looking through the binder one day and pointed it out, saying "let's try this!" And lo and behold....It was an immediate hit!
I am getting deja vu, as if I have already told you this....but in case I haven't I must say that this broccoli salad is absolutely delicious and I've made it a few more times and each time it is the first thing to disappear from the table. Wow, who knew bacon and broccoli flavours complemented each other so beautifully? Thanks Betsy
Okay, I'd like to officially ask if we can trade houses :) Could yours be ANY sweeter? That is just idyllic ... like something out of Anne of Green Gables. Enjoy, enjoy! Susan
Hi Betsy...yes, I've been more or less away frome the blogosphere, and that reminds me I must hop over to Rebecca's site. Another recipe I tried while on my hiatus was her Impossible Vegetable Pie and it too was delicious and so easy to make.

Oh, your tree is beautiful! That is so cool that you can watch the birds taking care of their babies!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! We had a mama robin building a nest on my front door wreath before we left on our trip. I'm anxious to get home and check on her.
