Fantastic shots Betsy and what lucky squirrels having such a treat. They'll be telling their mates and they will be coming for miles around . . . hahaha
Yummy suet. Such contented birdies and squirrels. They've hit the mother lode! Could be my imagination... but the last photo of the suet looks like an owl!
I miss seeing wildlife like this. When I was in college, there were squirrels, owls, and geese around with regularity. At my job at the tax commission I used to see deer, squirrels, and geese a lot. And where I work now, I don't see anything.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you need to hang a suet pine cone in a tree outside a window somewhere!
DeleteOoh - delicious! Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteIt certainly seems like it is!
DeleteWhen I was a kid I recall reading about people putting peanut butter on pine cones for the critters.
ReplyDeleteAnd here you are doing it again! :)
DeleteWe made them in grade school...and my boys did, too!
I bet the squirrels were very happy with their Christmas gift!
ReplyDeleteIt's really fun to see them all enjoying it!
DeleteSure an all you can eat
ReplyDeleteAs each critter finds it sweet
They strip the thing in a day
Deletebut they don't go away!
They look in the window at me
and say, "Another, please!"
Looks like a lovely Christmassy treat for the little birds.
ReplyDeleteThey are scarfing it down faster than I can put it out there! Goodness!
DeleteGreat job Betsy!! I cannot get to my feeders today...too much snow!
ReplyDeleteGuess I'll get my tall boots, and venture out!
Have a great day!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
