At work the other day we were watching the cat that lives upstairs. It had escaped into the garden and was stalking something...oh so slowly. We watched its muscles bunch up as it prepared to leap on some unsuspecting creature. It could have been a leopard. And then its owner came into the garden and picked it up!
Oh, I know....they are just like the big cats and so serious in their hunting. He could have been after a mouse or a leaf....either is met with complete concentration and intent. lol...
Best to stay up high with the cats drawing nigh. Although they know the danger here they tease and give a jeer. I think they like the flaunting and even a little taunting, inviting a game of tag. Could get caught if you lag.
Squirrels could be on the menu If we meet high up at this venu I rather fancy they are too fast To get caught and into kitty's grasp. But I'll wait a while and we will see If I can suppliment my tea . . . lol
That's a very cool shot. Cats have a great deal of patience... sometimes!
ReplyDelete:-)
The squirrels like high up in that tree. I laugh whenever I see a cat up there.
DeleteAnother great photo. Poor squirrels.
ReplyDeleteThey're pretty smart and keep their eye on the cats. I've only seen one get caught...he was

ReplyDeleteFortunately, he didn't get any closer...but he was watching!
