What a delightful, cozy kitchen. I love your farmhouse sink. Plus your counters are far more clean and organized. Mine tend to be a catch-all for all those "important things.."
It sure looks cozy! I love lamps in the kitchen. I have one in a corner, too. Your color scheme, also, makes it look so warm and cozy. I sure do love that pitcher!
haha...well, of course she posed all by herself. lol...She looked so cute I had to take her picture. :) She does like to hang out with me, which I love.
lol she looks as comfy as can be There at your sea Watching the dishes be done Hopefully no little splashing or drops make her run Or give you a glare As she stays put there
My favorite part of the home is the kitchen and the kitchen window. This is lovely, Betsy. And Star looks so much younger now that she is safely in a forever, loving home. :)
Me, too! We might as well love it since we spend so much time there, right? :) She's looking good! It's her fur I'm working on now...lots of brushing, which she hates. ha. I'm glad she doesn't have claws at this point!
ha. tara cleaned out the space under the sink yesterday and repapered it and rearranged it, and vanilla got up in the now empty space and "helped out" -- lol.
HI Betsy... So nice that Star feels at home...and safe...kudos to you and The Mister! Love the kitchen...and the lamp...you get a lot of cat hair in your food?? hahaha! enjoy your week... Cheers! Linda :o)
Star is a beauty. She is so lucky to have found a home with you good folks. We lost the last of our 3 kitties last month at 16 years old and the last of 2 golden retrievers too. IT has been a tough time. Seeing happy kitties in your home makes me smile. There are more cats for us but we are taking a break for now. A home just isn't complete without kitties about. Thank you sharing.
Aw...so sorry for all the losses. It is so hard, isn't it? I don't do well with pets leaving me. Sometimes I wonder what I've set myself up for here....I could have many go very close to each other since most are the same age. Oh dear! Can't wait to hear about a new critter there when you feel the time is right!
thanks, it is the tough part of pets. Don't tell anyone but today I stopped by a local shelter. Didn't bring anyone home but I might if I keep doing that!
Awww... I love this. Contented kitty watching the work of the home be done. Seven pounds heavier? Amazing... well done. So Tiger and Whiskers now have competition for the Mister? :-)

Well, I'm kind of OCD with the living areas and kitchen. But my studio is a different story. ha.
DeleteIt sure looks cozy! I love lamps in the kitchen. I have one in a corner, too. Your color scheme, also, makes it look so warm and cozy. I sure do love that pitcher!
ReplyDeleteWhy are those kitchen corners always so dark? haha. You almost have to have a lamp!
DeleteIt looks so perfect, like you posed Star there. Not that any self-respecting cat would ever allow themselves to be "posed". :)
ReplyDeletehaha...well, of course she posed all by herself. lol...She looked so cute I had to take her picture. :) She does like to hang out with me, which I love.
DeleteLove your new kitchen, and what a coziness Star brings. I also love the little birds in the window
ReplyDeleteI love that little bird, too. It's so tiny! :)

She's good at the glare

I wonder if they are related
as their sense of humor is slated. ha.
Very pretty,Betsy, and I love the attention you get from that beautiful kitty!
ReplyDeleteShe's an old gal that is a true rescue story. I've had her 13 months now and she's gained 7 pounds since I've taken her in.
DeleteI always love your pictures of your cozy home. You have such an eye for a good picture.
ReplyDeleteWell, Star kind of inspired me. :) Now if she could just DO the dishes! haha.
DeleteStar look beautiful !
ReplyDeleteShe's getting there! :)
DeleteShe is a "Star" attraction . . and she looks very well doesn't she?
ReplyDeleteDoes she still follow you round the house?
Kitchen looks real good.. . :)
Yes, she does...but it's The Mister that she really loves. haha. She runs to the door when he comes home like a little puppy. haha.
DeleteHi Betsy - she's been an amazing companion and come back wonder cat - what a delight ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteShe's become a chatty little thing, too! She didn't make a peep for months and now we can't shut her up! haha.
DeleteLove that cozy kitchen corner. Especially that pitcher!
ReplyDeleteThank you...I love that pitcher, too. An auction find a few years ago...
DeleteIt does look cozy, love lamps in a kitchen corner.
ReplyDeleteI think we all have one there! haha. And it's nice in the evening when you want
Deleteto turn off the ceiling lights...

A lamp in the kitchen warms things up nicely.
