Here's what we've been having for dinner lately....
- Steak and spinach salad.
- Grilled salmon with fresh dill.
- Breaded chicken tenderloins with sauteed garden veggies.
- Salad topped with rotisserie chicken and Chinese rice noodles.
- Scrambled eggs with fried potatoes, peppers and tomatoes.
- Grilled pastrami and provolone sandwiches.
Yum.
♥
wow. you have been eating good. so did you have an asian dressing as well for that salad?
ReplyDeletemmm the pastrami sandwiches sound delicious as well.
there were def points where i was even out of my comfort zone, but it was kinda like throwing yourself in the deep end - there was no escape. i told god going into it that i would do anything, meet anyone that was put in front of me. so i did.
The pastrami sandwiches have been made a lot here recently. We love them! Add some romaine and thousand island dressing at the end and they are so good!
DeleteYou got thrown in the deep end and survived to tell about it! ha. I'm sure you will never know the extent to which your visit touched lives...well, at least not in this life. I'm enjoying your posts about it. How thick was that journal you wrote while there? :)
Oh my goodness, I have missed your dinners. I'm starving right now and would gobble up any one of them. But, I think the grilled salmon would be my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI haven't posted my dinners in a while! I have been photographing them though...I think they always end of on IG instead! Salmon is my favorite. We have it every week. Yum. So easy and good!
DeleteAbsolutely wonderful ~ what a very lucky brood you have . . . goodness, they all look superb . . . :)
ReplyDeleteI do love to cook....and eat! haha. Good thing since you have to have the first to get the second! lol.
Deletehaha! . . . I must get it in the right order with the guidance of a good cookbook . . :)
DeleteDrooling on my keyboard again. Can I come live with you, can I bring Don?
ReplyDeleteWell, of course you can! haha. You have to agree to make scones with drizzle, though. :)
DeleteOkay, now I am hungry.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks delish...
Pull up a chair.... :)
DeleteHi Betsy - they all look so good - I'd love to try the pastrami sandwich sometime ... but I too love salmon and seem to eat it often. The range is good - different varieties of veggie - all good to cook and taste - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteYeah, I do try to serve a good variety....lean meat, lots of veggies. Don't want it to be boring! ha.
DeleteThey look so good and health.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Andy....that's usually my goal! Unless it's Sunday night frozen pizza. ha.
DeleteYum!! Now you're making me hungry!!! Lol
ReplyDeleteNone of it sounds good for breakfast, though. You are such an early bird! My!
DeleteYou are quite the cook Betsy...Now that it is just the two of us, I do not cook as much as I used to. And we need to watch the waistlines so that means no desserts which is my favorite thing to make. Actually I am more of a baker than a cook.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I cook for just the two of us, too! The triplets eat something different...they are extremely picky!
DeleteWow, this could be a menu at a wonderful restaurant! Bet it would be difficult to get a reservation there. LOL It would be my favorite place, for sure.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week. Now I'm hungry!
Well, thank you, Carol! :)
DeletePlenty of variety at your sea
ReplyDeleteSure beats the same day in day out of me lol
You could pick out the spinach, chicken and blueberries.
DeleteThen you wouldn't be so wary. haha.
Good looking summer food. Perfect for summer eats. It has been so hot here I am getting good at cooking most anything on the grill. I can't remember the last time it didn't hit 100. I am thankful for AC. You all stay cool!
ReplyDeleteFood is probably my favorite thing about summer! :)
DeleteEeny, Meany, Miny, Moe!
ReplyDeleteAs I have not been in my home for a while, I am enjoying friends' cooking... or I treat them to dining out.
ReplyDeleteYour meals are very photogenic!
