Is that one of those pretzel buns? Love those things. There's a favorite restaurant of mine in Myrtle Beach that serves a Portobello Mushroom sandwich on a pretzel bun. It's so delicious. And the side is a salad with creamy balsamic vinaigrette. I could eat THAT every day. Is that tomato from your garden?
The buns were called Golden Brioche. Very yummy! Yes, the tomato was that first ripe one...Yay! There are three more big ones out there almost ready to be picked. We've officially started eating dinner from the garden...so fun!
Hi Betsy - looks good and delicious .. I prefer the burger without the bun ... but burgers with cheese, tomato and a slither of gherkin, and a few onions - good to go - now I'm back to my coffee! Cheers Hilary
Looks yummy Betsy. Have you ever had a burger on a lightly toasted bagel? We use bagels in my house, not buns. The flavor is out of this world and you get a nice big burger to fill it. It's a super -sized meal.
I had burgers (2) for my evening meal tonight. I don't do "suppers"!
ReplyDeleteI would certainly call 2 burgers a supper! :)
Deletegood looking burger. do you all ever put CA avocados on you burgers?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I have! Yum! I do love avocados! I'm the only one in the family, though...but
