It was so warm today, Star and I had the door open
as we watched for the bus!

    1. I have to admit it was very pleasant to work around the house and have an outside
warm breeze coming through. I know when the mister gets home he'll be saying he
      has spring fever. haha.

  2. It was much colder here today! I hope you are feeling a lot better. I am fine but feelin SO sleepy this week I'm wondering if it is some mystery disease? No not really.
Always so good to see sunshine at this time of year.

    1. We've had some very grey days, so the sun was a pleasant change!

  3. We could open our door but the temps would drop in the house by 45 degrees. I am glad Star is out there belonging to her humans. I really like her story and hope she keeps improving.

    1. She's still coming along....but even after 8 months is obviously not as healthy as our other cats. She finally has enough weight on her that you don't cringe and feel bone when you touch her. I've started her on some lysine for cats to boost her immune system, so I hope that gives her the extra help she needs.

  4. That's a really wizard photo, spiffing! It almost looks like a moonlit night, have you doctored it up?
How is Star doing these day, well I hope?

    1. No, I didn't doctor it....it's just a beautiful day!
Star is doing well...still not 100% but still gaining weight.
She refuses all table scraps so the weight gain is slow going...
plus she really had a lot to gain to even look very thin!
She's a sweet girl, though, and likes to be right by me all day.

  5. Lovely day here too and was nice and warm at The Rectory . . :)

Love the piccie of little Star awaiting the bus.
    Love the path . . .

Star seems to be much better now and gaining a little weight.

Saw little Rosa the afternoon . . . a mixture of cries, smiles, laughs, sqawks . . . she soon got used to her Grandpa again and hey, get this, because Matt was having a meal with his firm because they won a competition I prepared the meal while Selina bathed Rosa. It was delicious . . . Chickapea Curry and Rice . . . . yum . . :)

Hope you had a really lovely day . . :)

No photo I am sorry . . . did not think to take one. If I do it again I shall send you one . . but see this recipe ~ the vegetarian type because Selina is vegetarian.
I know you are not too keen on curry though . . . but this is quite mild . . . :)

  7. Freeze my butt off here
If any door opened I fear
    Star still doesn't stray far?
Keeping close unlike the others at your sand bar?

    1. Star only goes out for a few minutes here and there
Maybe without claws, in a disadvantage she's aware.
She'll find a patio chair to take a nap in the sun
and then comes back in because she is done.

    1. I'm sure it won't last here, but a little airing out was a nice surprise!
That wind was someething..totally blew away the storm clouds from yesterday!

  9. I've been in shorts for two days. But it's going to get cold again, when this rain pushes through. I'm not ready for the warm weather yet, even though these last two days were nice. I want it to get really cold first. Is that flowers I see through your window, by the door?

    1. Well, ours was short-lived, too! By this evening, the temps had dropped drastically! Brr.
That red? It's a silk poinsettia....today it felt very out of place. haha.

  12. It looks like spring there! We are snow covered and cool. I plan on opening the doors, but I will need to turn off the heat and wear a coat. I think they used to call that " airing out" love that you are getting out a bit!

    1. I did get a little airing out...or the house did. haha. But today it's freezing cold and snowing! Just tiny little floating flakes, but it's still snow!

    2. You have some funny weather in Ohio! Not funny "Ha-ha", but funny "Oh, my God!".
Ever thought of moving to California, or even emigrating to little old England. We don't get weather here, we just get samples. . . . Ha!
