Today

haha....did you?
Not trample people...but did you go out and shop?
I did my traditional Black Friday....stay in my jammies
and shop online.  Quite a productive day, even with bedhead!
I got the majority of my Christmas shopping done!
Free shipping, great sales, no crowds...just like
a hermit would do it! lol....

Hope you had a great day, no matter what your tradition!

    1. I almost got trampled today
but it was not as you say.
Cats heard the fridge open up
and ran to the kitchen to look in my cup.

  3. I did not shop. There is nothing I want that bad.
I'll probably go out tomorrow instead, or maybe Monday.

    1. Something Taylor requested was sold out in some stores already, so I'm glad I didn't procrastinate!

  4. No Black Friday shopping for me! I shop online, too. Will probably start on cyber Monday. Wonder how many fights broke out at Wal-Mart?

    1. Monday can be better deals than Friday, online! You'll do very well, I'm sure.
Fights...haha....sometimes we've watched the evening news to see clips of
people acting crazy. One lady fell to the floor and her wig popped off....couldn't
      help but laugh....

  5. I think you colonials have got it all wrong! If you change the names 'Good Friday' to yesterday and 'Black Friday' to Easter, it would make more sense. Friday before Easter was most certainly very black day for a certain man, and yesterday was very good for a certain lady I know in Cedarville!

  6. I went out but only to buy groceries. It was rainy and cool here today. I live in a city that, in my estimation, has almost doubled in population in the last 5-7 yrs. and traffic around here is a nightmare on its own without adding in "Black Friday" and all that goes with it. The best part of my day was seeing a friend in the grocery store and talking to him!

    1. How did you need groceries the day after Thanksgiving? You must not have hosted a big meal, right?
At least you found a familiar face in the crowds!

    2. Right. My Aunt hosted Thanksgiving this year. I normally buy groceries every Friday because of the chaos that ensues on Saturdays. I was very thankful for the familiar face . . . he's become one of my best friends in the last year and I wouldn't trade the friendship we have!

    3. How very nice! I never shop on the weekends, either...too crazy out there!

  7. No shopping for me. I took advantage of the beautiful day, without any demands on me, and leisurely worked on my barn project. Finally at 6:00 I ventured out for dinner out with the family! Stuffed myself on RIBS and FRIES !!! Nice break from Thanksgiving food. But no, no shopping for this old boy!

  9. We don't really have it up here... although they try. Hate crowds and hate the mentality of mass sale shopping so you won't find me out there. I did look online at a few sites but nothing called out to me. I've done all my Christmas shopping already.

    1. Good for you! Before we had kids I would have a goal to get my shopping done by Thanksgiving. It was a great thing the years I did it!

  12. I spent a few hours at a friend's home. The traffic to and from wasn't bad, though!

  13. Well, you know Black Friday is not a tradition In the UK. So I was at work. But spending a day in my nightie sounds a v relaxing idea. And v sensible. I vote for that.
