He's a cutie. Ok, new problem....I think. I hung a fake bluebird in one of my crepe myrtles and hung a bird feeder beside it, filled to the rim with bird seed. I have not had the first bird visit it in over a week. Wonder if the fake bird is scaring the real ones away? Or, is it just too early for the birds from up north to migrate south?
Hi Betsy, I had been swamped at work but wanted to wish you a belated happy Thanksgiving. Your cornish hen looks like it was delicious! Hope you had a nice holiday!
It's so upsetting when the technology does not work! This is my xx comment and I really do hope it will appear ... Just wanted to say that the birdie is beautiful and that I know why you wanted to have her :-)

ReplyDeleteSounds so cute, but I bet the fake bird is scaring them! Take it down and see!
DeleteKinda thought so. I'll try it. I'll let you know.
DeleteVery interesting....
DeleteI really like the little bird. When I first saw it I thought you got a bird but you can't do that with all those cats.. I was glad it was ceramic.
ReplyDeleteOh, Larry...I have two parakeets! haha....yes, live ones! They tease the cats and vise versa. They are safe in their cage, though, so no worries....
DeleteHi Betsy....
ReplyDeleteVery cute indeed...
Is he guarding your string? Hahaha!
Cheers!
Linda :o)

ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad you're ok....thanks for checking in!
DeleteFirst-rate security. Cats guard your house and a bluebird guards your string... I think you've got it covered!
ReplyDeleteYep, the security is fierce here....you can feel eyes on you at all times! ha.
DeleteHi Betsy - he's fun to see ... someone always around ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteExactly...
DeleteHe better watch the string
ReplyDeleteSo no cats have a fling
And take it from room to room
As around with it they zoom
String games so sublime!
DeleteCats Cradle comes to mind.
What a mess that would be...
Like your toilet paper sprees!
