Thirty Days Of Thankfulness

It's a good thing to be grateful, isn't it?
And with the Thanksgiving holiday approaching,
November just seems like the obvious time to celebrate
that day in a very practical way.  So, I think I'll list one thing
each day of November that I'm thankful for and keep a running
list on my sidebar.  I've done this in years past and it's fun!
Things can be light hearted, serious, deep or shallow. haha.
If you want to join me, start a list on your sidebar, too!

  1. Great idea. I have noticed a few bloggers and FB peeps doing this too. Helps us focus on the big and little things we have in our lives. I'm grateful for you and all that you share with us. xo

    1. I've seen it around, too, but couldn't find an organized event in the blogs. But I didn't want to do 30 posts on it...I like the sidebar thing better. And I'm thankful for you, too! :)

  2. I've done this before, too. It was fun appreciating the not so obvious things. And I am equally grateful, as Suza, for you and our new friendship.

  6. Hi Betsy - what a great idea ... I'll join in mentally and may post at the bottom of each post ... sidebar aspects beat me! I can combine this with another couple of thoughts ... thanks - and yes at the moment I'm grateful it's not frosty and freezing, but I suspect the cold is good for us and our space in this world here in England. Lots of bugs around still! The mist has descended ... still my walk across to my class today will have great views of nature ... cheers Hilary

  7. You, shallow at your sea?
That would be an interesting spree
Reasons to be thankful every day
Even when the crap comes to play

    1. Glad to hear that surprises you
as I wouldn't want that reputation to come due. haha.
But yeah, I can be thankful for silly things
and the little bit of happiness they bring.
Dealing with a lot of crap
makes you want to take a nap
have to look for the good
      so a balance is understood!

  8. Great idea! Seems like a good time to do some self-inspection, and see just what we ARE thankful for! So I'm jumping on board with you! And I'm thankful I've come to know you, and feel like I can call you a friend. That's a "freebie".... won't be on my list.... :)
