Here's what I've been creating in the kitchen lately....
- Saute Kielbasa, onions, and bell peppers, then add garlic and Half-and-Half and Parmesan to make a little sauce. Toss in al dente pasta and spinach. Taste and season.
- Rotisserie chicken, baked beans and green salad.
- Scrambled eggs, bacon, broiled tomatoes and a danish.
- Grilled Ahi tuna steaks, spinach salad.
- Quesadilla soup. Make broth from a jar of salsa, chicken stock, Velveeta, chili powder and cumin. Add cans of corn, carrots and black beans. After spooning into bowls, top with sour cream, shredded cheese, avocado, tortilla chips. cilantro and Sriracha.
- Homemade buttermilk pancakes and syrup.

Spinning today?
DeleteDizzy at your bay?
Did yoga but no spinning about
DeleteJust bendy with my butt stuck out lol
Still got chicken and spinach there
ReplyDeleteSo at least I can eat at your lair lol
In my special chair
Full of cats and cat hair
I always dust the chairs for the dinner guests.
DeleteConsidering the cat hair, I think it's best.
haha.
But if you let them sit
DeleteThey'll have a butt full of hair for a bit
They'll take it home with them too
Then no cleaning for you
Might hear them yell
Deleteand curse me to hell
for ruining their clothes
and all that hair blows.
lol...
Gosh, Betsy, they are all fantastic but right now I could murder No 4 . . . . :)
ReplyDeleteYour photography makes them even tastier . . . :)
Going for the lean and healthy dish? So unlike you! haha...

Deletelol...I've given up trying to do that.
Deleteaw , , , keep trying and I may surprise you . . . . :)
DeleteYou missed your calling Betsy. You would make a fabulous food stylist. Those pancakes are killing me. I'll have to make do with the slice of pumpkin cheesecake I brought home from Cheesecake Factory. ;-) Lynne in NC
ReplyDeleteMake Do????? hahaha....oh YUM! Love that place...I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy and the desserts are to die for. I love to look in the big display case at all of those gorgeous cakes. Lucky you!
DeleteWhat have you done to your tomatoes? Is that grated cheese? Looks good. Why have we never thought of that.
ReplyDeleteThose are Roma tomatoes. I cut them in half, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan. Stick under the broiler until warm and bubbling. Yum.
DeleteI would normally sprinkle them with salt & pepper and a little Italian seasoning and olive oil and leave them for at least half an hour and then fry in a little butter. Also yum. But the grated cheese does look tasty. BTW we have just tried M&S Winter Berry & Prosecco crisps (new for Christmas!) and I'll be posting my review in the next day or so. Seriously weird.
DeleteThat would work....and then after frying, sprinkle on the cheese and it would melt before serving. Yum.
DeleteNow...those crisps....VERY interesting. haha...
You have been a busy little bee!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking meals, Betsy!
I spy our rotiserrie chicken there, too!
I have one tucked away in the freezer!
Will be full of Turkey on Sunday!
But...I do love the leftovers!
Enjoy your evening...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I have another one in the freezer, too! haha....
DeleteOooo - yummmmmm! #1 and #5 are my faves today. Have had nothing but soup and toast for a week but I can't wait to eat again. Hope I can for Thanksgiving... though I will have to be careful.
ReplyDeleteBoy, you like your bacon crispy!
I hope you're fully recovered to enjoy yourself this weekend!
DeleteI didn't realize you had a stomach virus...ugh. That's the worst!
I can never say "no" to pancakes so I'll take a #6, please.
ReplyDeleteI love them, too....I always eat way too many!
DeleteYum! Your suppers always look so good. I make a soup that is a lot like your quesidilla soup and it's about time for it again. :)
ReplyDeleteThis was our first time of the season...when it was cool last week. It was so good!
DeleteI think I want to come eat at your house Betsy..the food looks wonderful! Any leftovers??
