Here's what we've been eating lately....
- Grilled ham and cheese with watermelon and garden cucumbers.
- Sauteed bacon and potatoes, fried eggs, toast and grapes.
- In a skillet ~ potatoes, bacon, zucchini, onions, bell peppers and tomatoes, all seasoned with garlic, s & p.
- Scratch buttermilk pancakes with homemade syrup, bacon.
- Lemon and basil spaghetti squash with chicken, zucchini, and parmesan.
- In a skillet ~ smoked kielbasa, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, sweet corn and garlic.
Yum.
Can I set a place for you?

OK, you are invited to be the Guest Cook in the Villa Kitchen..... There isn't anything you fixed I wouldn't just devour!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm doing something very different tonight. Bought a can of Alaskan Red Salmon and will make croquettes....haven't had them in years,,,,mom made them. Will add some creamed corn (which Don requested) and a salad. I'll take a picture and hope it looks good.
I love salmon, so I'm sure it will be delicious! My mom used to buy those cans of salmon and make patties with them. Haven't had those in years and years...same with creamed corn....you're talking my childhood now. ha.

Enjoy your evening....

Salmon patties take me back to my childhood too... but I was never a big fan of them.
All in under 30 minutes? Wow! That's my kinda cooking!
There is always room for one more!

ReplyDeleteI don't know...you've been spoiled by vacation dinners! I don't have any lobster, either! lol....
DeleteRestaurant meals are fine once in a while, but my wife and I were both craving home-cooked meals by the second week of our vacation. I'd take one of your pancakes and bacon right now! :)
DeleteYes, I agree...I love to eat out because we seldom do....and it's a treat. But home cooked meals really are wonderful in their own way!
