Betsy just admit it ... You kept secretly feeding Tom all day long :-) ... I was just thinking abt you and Tom two nights ago ... As I walked with our puppy into the garden at night I spotted a frog on our terase, which is amazing as we do not live that close to any lakes or waters ... I wonder how he got there ... So maybe little/big Tom made a quick trip from Ohio to Belgium? lol ...
Well, wouldn't that be fun! A travelling frog! haha. We don't live near water either, so tree frogs must not need it. We've had plenty of rain, though...maybe that has something to do with it. If your frog sticks on the windows and looks in at you, then we'll know he's one and the same. lol....
Hi Betsy - you must be having lots of wet, damp weather ... and how interesting you've had toads, but not frogs before ... creatures move around so much ... looks like you have a family tree of tree frogs around ... cheers Hilary
If you've had as much rain as we have this year, you probably have a bumper crop of tree frogs. I hope they are not soon in your mixing bowls... (Like in Exodus) :0)
I tried to take a shot of Tom's cousin last night but my lighting was not great. It is a surprise to see them hanging on screens or setting on the ledge of the screen door. I thought it was a leaf at first. You did get a good shot.
I think this is Grandpa! They are fun to see, aren't they? :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, this one is much bigger! This is a first here...we've had toads but not frogs!
DeleteHe/she desperately wants to come in. No doubt he smelled your good cooking.
ReplyDeleteWell, now....I wonder what he would like to eat? Maybe a green salad?
DeleteWe're fresh out of fly pie. LOL!
Lol!! You're good! I was trying to think of something about flies, but couldn't come up with anything.
Deletefly pie with dragon wing crust. Ew.
Deletehaha they really want in
ReplyDeleteMaybe you have yourself a frog Rin Tin Tin
Maybe Rin thinks Marmalade is Rusty?
DeleteAs he hangs on the screen with the wind so gusty?
haha.
Betsy ~ my goodness you are a magnet to Tom and family. He's going to want to bring them inside...haha.
ReplyDeleteLaurie and I were discussing a fly pie to lure him in. I think it would work!
DeleteAnd believe me, he could have the whole thing! hahaha....
HaHa, I almost ask you if your had a "fly" print on your blouse.....a pie...I think that would work. Don't save me a slice.
DeleteI think it should be a no-bake pie. Can't imagine that thing would smell good in the oven. lol....
DeleteI think it was Keith, turned into a frog . . . keeping his beady eye on you . . . hahaha!
ReplyDeleteHe is saying, "Nice TOMeet you!" ,. . . lol :)
He would be a flying frog....off on a jet for a holiday!
DeleteLovely photo...greetings!
ReplyDeleteThank you. :)
DeleteHe wanted to see what was going on!
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting here at my desk with the lamp on and as it gets dark, I wonder if it will happen again! ha.

ReplyDeleteI know...so much fun! We have had rain more days than not since spring....maybe that helped them migrate a little.
DeleteThey have sent a toad posse forth to suss out your digs. You may get the whole Tom family soon. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf they all hang on the window, I'm going to crack up! How funny.
