Laughing! Well at least you won't have trespassers!
No, we sure won't! Maybe I can get that koi pond I've always wanted. lol....
Good thing Garden Girl weighs a ton!
Laughing again... Have the funniest picture in my head of her and her gargoyle floating down your street!
Crumbs ~ have you enough wood to build an ark? . . :) lol
I said I was a princess, not Noah! lol....
Well we know you are a princess ~ I'll lower the drawbridge and come on my white charger and fiery steed to rescue you . . . "Sir Ed at your service, my lady!" . . . . lol
Well, you'd have to be the one wearing wellies!
Can I borrow your red ones? . . . rofl
Repunzel, Repunzel.... oh wait.. that's ANOTHER story..... I think, with your creative mind though, you should be able to write a kid's story about a princess trapped in a castle surrounded by the "great flood".... just sayin'
Lol...I knew there was a reason I felt I should grow my hair long again!
That is amazing! How much water have you gotten this week?
I haven't heard the inches...maybe 8 or 9? It's supposed to rain all this week! So glad we don't have a basement...lol....
That's the way to look on the bright side!:0)
There have been a few good things....it didn't rain while I was running errands and I haven't had to water the garden. But it slowed down our landscape work and the boys have not liked running out to the bus when it's pouring!
I thought we had it bad... Row. row, row your boat. :)Jane x
I'm glad we don't live in a valley! Maybe by this time next week we will...lol....
haha got some crocodiles too? They'd protect, and maybe eat, many at your zoo
No crocodile in the moat. Then I'd really need a boat!Would keep neighbor man away.I might try it at my bay!
Whip out the boogie boards! Yahoo!
Oh, the neighbors would think we were crazy (er). ha.
Hope you're flood insurance is paid up. I live on the side of a hill, near the top. 984ft above the valley. A while back I had an insurance agent knocked on the door and offered me a discounted premium against flooding! I showed him the view from the back of the house, then I told him to go away and not be so silly.
Oh, that's funny! Hey, I want to see that view! Get out your camera and post a picture!
I will, but we will have to wait for a clear sunny day for that. That alone is a rarity now! I went out today for a walk, but I soon staggered back to my house! It was bitterly cold, colder than last December, the wind chill factor made it feel like 34 degrees F. The shy was overcast and a dirty grey, I couldn't even see the other side of the valley because of the drizzly rain.
Brr. sounds like you'll be wearing your winter jammies tonight! Maybe Dinky and Henry will lay on your feet and keep you warm. :)
Ooh dear...sloshing around in your wellies m'lady.Your flowers will be happy !~Jo
Everything growing was happy!
Wow, so many people have been getting hit pretty hard with rain. We've had some, but it hasn't been nearly as bad. Hopefully, there will be lots of sunshine for you this week. I'm glad I stopped by, I enjoyed the visit... :)
Nice to meet you, Dee...glad you stopped by! And we had sunshine all day today!
Isn't that crazy?
You could ship some of that to us...seriously. I think about all the work the gardeners had done. Guess they finished up in time. Thank you, Betsy, for your prayers regarding the fire. We now have a 50 percent chance of rain.blessings, jill
Hope you get rain....more than 50%!
You are a princess, Betsy. You are!!!! :)
Wow...look at you....VERY princess-ish! :)
