Well we know you are a princess ~ I'll lower the drawbridge and come on my white charger and fiery steed to rescue you . . . "Sir Ed at your service, my lady!" . . . . lol
Repunzel, Repunzel.... oh wait.. that's ANOTHER story..... I think, with your creative mind though, you should be able to write a kid's story about a princess trapped in a castle surrounded by the "great flood".... just sayin'
There have been a few good things....it didn't rain while I was running errands and I haven't had to water the garden. But it slowed down our landscape work and the boys have not liked running out to the bus when it's pouring!
I live on the side of a hill, near the top. 984ft above the valley. A while back I had an insurance agent knocked on the door and offered me a discounted premium against flooding! I showed him the view from the back of the house, then I told him to go away and not be so silly.
I will, but we will have to wait for a clear sunny day for that. That alone is a rarity now! I went out today for a walk, but I soon staggered back to my house! It was bitterly cold, colder than last December, the wind chill factor made it feel like 34 degrees F. The shy was overcast and a dirty grey, I couldn't even see the other side of the valley because of the drizzly rain.
Wow, so many people have been getting hit pretty hard with rain. We've had some, but it hasn't been nearly as bad. Hopefully, there will be lots of sunshine for you this week. I'm glad I stopped by, I enjoyed the visit... :)
You could ship some of that to us...seriously. I think about all the work the gardeners had done. Guess they finished up in time. Thank you, Betsy, for your prayers regarding the fire. We now have a 50 percent chance of rain. blessings, jill
