  1. Great selections of shots covering your very varied and interesting weekend, including the meal yesterday to celebrate Mother's Day. Would have loved to see you up the ladder . . . lol
You had me going for a minute about the snakes . . :)

    3. I sometimes do it a funny away you might think.
I look at the first photo then whip down to see the wording, then when I saw the wording for the second item about the snake I went to see the second photo and laughed at the snakes, then see the third, look at the wording of the next two, then up to the top again and so on . . . . just the way my mind works. . . . :)

  2. How sweet the best buddies look! I wish Peach would return to become someone's. I hope he was able to get all of his antibiotics in before he took off. Lynne in NC

    1. I'm so sad I haven't seen Peach. :( I've called for him and looked out the back door probably a million times. Don't worry about the antibiotic, though...he was given a long acting injection...no other doses needed. When he shows up he should be feeling a ton better. I just want to see it for myself!

  3. Looks like a great weekend. Love your snakes and potholders. Like your milk glass. Don's mom had a huge collection, so now I have using it for gifts for my girls. Why wait till I'm gone for them to enjoy it too. I gave Michel a bouquet of fresh flowers in a large milk glass vase for her Birthday in March. I gave Julie three pretty pieces that had lids.. A creamer and sugar and a taller one. She had mentioned she really likes the ones with lids. I'm also beginning to give away some of my tea cups and tea pots...(btw...I plan to live a lot longer....just having fun sharing it while I'm still alive and kicking...HaHa.

    1. What a great idea to give your girls pieces of that milk glass! Then you get to see them enjoying it and using it! The pieces with lids are more unusual, I think...and so pretty! That little one of mine in the photo holding candy...I found that in the trash at the auction 2 weeks ago. :)

And I'm glad to hear you are just sharing your treasures and not leaving us all just yet! haha...

    1. I planted cilantro, basil, dill and chives in a big pot. The cilantro is ready to use and the other three are just started to come up through the soil! Mine seem to do best in the shade....the sun is just too much for them, I guess.

    2. That's good to know because the bed where I planted the cilantro has a lot of shade.

  7. I simply love your kitty pictures, they all look so content in each other's company.
You can keep the snakes, although they are cute :)
Power-washing the house, a huge chore, and one we have to face every year. The trim washing takes forever.
Beautiful flowers and herbs, colorful and flavorful.
    And the beat goes on.....

  10. Fun photos. I love Marmie-the-helper. And your begonia pic is stunning. Those snakes are making me laugh! Hope Peach, Peaches, Peachy comes back to the fold soon. He's just making you pay for the cat-napping!

    1. cat-nabbing? haha....yes, I suppose so, but I wish he'd forgive me already!

    2. Well I meant cat-napping as in "kidnapping" - but cat-nabbing is probably more accurate! Regardless, I hope Mafia Peach returns soon. :-)

  12. I bought one of those power washers back in the day when I was still able to be out and about doing things. I discovered that you can tear a piece of wood to pieces and ruin a sidewalk. After I read the directions on how to use it I gave up on trying to clean the board fence.

    1. It works great on our house....I don't think we've tried it on wood, though. It is powerful, that is for sure!

  14. Love the pictures! I giggled at your nailing and standing on a ladder at the same time. Kudos to you because I know that I would have broke my butt trying to do that. Haha
