Great selections of shots covering your very varied and interesting weekend, including the meal yesterday to celebrate Mother's Day. Would have loved to see you up the ladder . . . lol
ReplyDeleteYou had me going for a minute about the snakes . . :)
Gosh . . . first!
DeleteWhere is everyone? . . lol
So, you read first and looked at photos second? :)
DeleteI sometimes do it a funny away you might think.
DeleteI look at the first photo then whip down to see the wording, then when I saw the wording for the second item about the snake I went to see the second photo and laughed at the snakes, then see the third, look at the wording of the next two, then up to the top again and so on . . . . just the way my mind works. . . . :)
Eddie. . . you're mad!
DeleteHello Keith . . . . you may be right . . . :)
DeleteHow sweet the best buddies look! I wish Peach would return to become someone's. I hope he was able to get all of his antibiotics in before he took off. Lynne in NC
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad I haven't seen Peach. :( I've called for him and looked out the back door probably a million times. Don't worry about the antibiotic, though...he was given a long acting injection...no other doses needed. When he shows up he should be feeling a ton better. I just want to see it for myself!
DeleteLooks like a great weekend. Love your snakes and potholders. Like your milk glass. Don's mom had a huge collection, so now I have using it for gifts for my girls. Why wait till I'm gone for them to enjoy it too. I gave Michel a bouquet of fresh flowers in a large milk glass vase for her Birthday in March. I gave Julie three pretty pieces that had lids.. A creamer and sugar and a taller one. She had mentioned she really likes the ones with lids. I'm also beginning to give away some of my tea cups and tea pots...(btw...I plan to live a lot longer....just having fun sharing it while I'm still alive and kicking...HaHa.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to give your girls pieces of that milk glass! Then you get to see them enjoying it and using it! The pieces with lids are more unusual, I think...and so pretty! That little one of mine in the photo holding candy...I found that in the trash at the auction 2 weeks ago. :)
DeleteAnd I'm glad to hear you are just sharing your treasures and not leaving us all just yet! haha...
Great photos! Your cilantro looks awesome. I just planted some today. Hope mine turns out as healthy looking as yours.
ReplyDeleteI planted cilantro, basil, dill and chives in a big pot. The cilantro is ready to use and the other three are just started to come up through the soil! Mine seem to do best in the shade....the sun is just too much for them, I guess.
DeleteThat's good to know because the bed where I planted the cilantro has a lot of shade.
DeleteSnakes and potholders..., I think you may be the only one! I love these pictures. Looks like a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI know...hilarious combination, don't you think? Had to laugh....
DeleteYou got it on the tree
ReplyDeleteAs a hammering you went at your sea
With a gardening buddy too
Or he could just be waiting for a bird in view
He was actually a help...
Deletea cheerleader with a yelp.
A nice escort, too
leading the way, telling me what to do.
I simply love your kitty pictures, they all look so content in each other's company.
ReplyDeleteYou can keep the snakes, although they are cute :)
Power-washing the house, a huge chore, and one we have to face every year. The trim washing takes forever.
Beautiful flowers and herbs, colorful and flavorful.
And the beat goes on.....
Hugs,
~Jo
It is a huge chore....he only did the back of the house. ...three more sides to go!
DeleteI have that same little square milk glass container at the cottage....
ReplyDeleteI keep my big pepper grinder in it.....so the mess stays put!
Lovely weekend photos....
Stay safe from those storms....
Cheers!
Linda :o)
It seems to just be rain right now...not even lightning!
DeleteGreat idea for the pepper grinder...it's the perfect size for that!
It has just started to pour here....YAY!
DeleteBeautiful pictures, as always.
ReplyDeleteIt was a weekend to savor.
:0)
PS. I love the snakes.
I love the snakes, too! :)
DeleteFun photos. I love Marmie-the-helper. And your begonia pic is stunning. Those snakes are making me laugh! Hope Peach, Peaches, Peachy comes back to the fold soon. He's just making you pay for the cat-napping!
ReplyDeletecat-nabbing? haha....yes, I suppose so, but I wish he'd forgive me already!
DeleteWell I meant cat-napping as in "kidnapping" - but cat-nabbing is probably more accurate! Regardless, I hope Mafia Peach returns soon. :-)
DeleteLove those signature pot holders!! =) blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeletePretty cute, aren't they? :)
DeleteI bought one of those power washers back in the day when I was still able to be out and about doing things. I discovered that you can tear a piece of wood to pieces and ruin a sidewalk. After I read the directions on how to use it I gave up on trying to clean the board fence.
ReplyDeleteIt works great on our house....I don't think we've tried it on wood, though. It is powerful, that is for sure!
DeleteBeautiful photos! So calm. I think I will borrow your herb sign idea... Lois from Ontario.
ReplyDeleteHi Lois! The spoons are cute, aren't they? I think I saw the idea on Pinterest.
DeleteLove the pictures! I giggled at your nailing and standing on a ladder at the same time. Kudos to you because I know that I would have broke my butt trying to do that. Haha
ReplyDeleteIt was a little wobbly! haha....
