- What was left of the peanut butter when Spencer got a hold of it.
- Slate, for Lynne. ...wishing you a happy birthday!
- When the rain started, Garden Girl looked like she'd gone brunette!
- Marmalade found an outdoor drinking fountain!
- Salad prep.
I almost posted a This and That too, but Little Red won out instead.
ReplyDeleteYour cats look related. :0)
And Mrs. Dove is gorgeous.
Marmalade and Socks do have the same dad. :)
DeleteIt's nice to have the doves back!
I need to come see Red....
I think maybe Slate and Socks have the same dad too.
DeleteOr maybe they're cousins.
well, I know that dad is no longer alive....but they could be cousins, that is true! They are all related in some way around here I would guess. Peaches came around tonight...he doesn't look like any of ours...his profile is completely different!
Deletehaha Marmalade has it made
ReplyDeleteOutdoor fountain, rooftop surveillance and a tree for shade
Plus all the birds he can eat
If he can catch them for a treat haha
The spoiled life of a cat
Deleteyes, he has all of that.
Plus sleeps on my feet
what a treat.
ha.
Laughing at the empty peanut butter jar. My son loves peanut butter too and we always have it in stock!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen such a clean jar! haha.
DeleteWow - that is one polished out peanut butter jar. Love the kitties - Marmalade is so cute at the spout. Gorgeous colours in the salad. I made a spinach salad tonight with mandarin slices, nuts, currants, shaved cheddar and a hard-boiled egg. It was tasty. Happy Birthday, Lynne - Slate is such a good poser.
ReplyDeleteWe had spinach salad last night, too.....cheese, bacon, grapes and sunflower seeds. Yum.
DeleteThe kitty drinking out of the downspout would go viral! Ha! And my heat melted that your boys were so great in the Easter service! Joyous!
ReplyDeleteJane xx
You can never take the wild out of a cat. haha. You'd think he didn't have a nice clean waterbowl! There's just something about rainwater...all the cats love it.
DeleteMorning.....
ReplyDeleteLove the Dove shot...they are so pretty....I saw my first one the other day,,,
Gloomy here again....
Enjoy your day!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
The doves really are beautiful! This one looks lonely! Hopefully more will come around soon!
DeleteLove the pictures. The pb jar made me giggle!! He must have a special spoon to clean it out that well. :)
ReplyDeleteyeah...his fingers! ew. :)
DeleteInteresting variety of This and That.
ReplyDeleteSocks . . . bless his little cotton socks . . . looking very alert . .
Slate looks highly intelligent . .
Marmalade might be experimenting with acoustics . . .
Very apt name for a jar of peanut butter . . . it would be gone in a Jif with me too.
No wonder Garden Girl likes it sunny . . .
Like the new pic on S/B or L and T.
Have a good day . . . :)
Slate always has that intelligent look! What a handsome boy he is!
DeleteI love your photos, Betsy. The one of marmalade is exceptional. And that's a lot of peanut butter!
ReplyDeletewayyyy too much peanut butter! That's a very big jar! Ugh. I have to hide it because this happens! Sometimes he finds the hiding place!
DeleteMy favorite PB! Spencer and I must be kindred spirits.
ReplyDeleteHe lives on the stuff!
DeleteNever saw a peanut butter jar emptied so thoroughly! Amazing...
ReplyDeleteMe, neither!
DeleteMarmalade will get a shower if not careful! I'm glad Jif is peanut butter for you. Here it is either squeezy lemon juice in a plastic lemon or cream cleaner for household stains!
ReplyDeletethat is so true....a quick downpour and he would be in for a big surprise!
DeleteHi Betsy, so sweet of Slate to send me more birthday wishes. He's such a little gentleman. Socks looks like he's up to something or at least contemplating mischief. Was so hoping that the photo of Marmalade was actually Peaches. I spent this afternoon working on my wish list. Proof of old age is wanting to gift yourself a new refrigerator. Something more fun is a curved screen TV I'm craving. It took all my will power not to have the sales guy write me up while I was at the store, but common sense took over and told me I had to do proper research first. Lynne in NC
ReplyDeleteOooh....that sounds like a very fun gift to yourself! Let me know what you end up choosing! The thinking about and shopping for the gift is half the fun!
DeleteGuess what...Peaches was here last night and again this morning! This is a BIG improvement! I need to get my game plan down and try to lure him in that carrier! And...although he still obviously has that terrible upper respiratory infection, he looked a little better...not dehydrated and more alert. I'm sure cat milk and yummy food is helping. I don't feel like he's about to die now even though it's still urgent he get's there soon. We're moving in the right direction!
Betsy. let me know if you are able to catch Peaches and get help for him. I would like to make a contribution to his medical bills. Lynne
DeleteWhat? You are SO sweet! Of course I'll let you know. Thank you so much!
DeleteYou know, I thought about trying to trick him into that carrier this morning but it just didn't feel right. I have to be successful the first time or he will be spooked and won't get near it the next time. And I can't feed him if he's going to get put under in just an hour or two. But I'm feeling good about it all. I've done it 20 times before and I'm confident if I'm patient and continue to gain his trust it will work. I was so happy to see him there in the morning time instead of always in the dark of night. That is a huge help just right there!
