A Few More Firsts of Spring

  1. Anemones.  I forgot we even had these in the yard!
  2. Butterfly.  A Red Admiral, chased by Cocoa.
  3. Leaf buds.  It's amazing what a little green will do for the trees!
  4. Green grass.  Wow.
  5. Barefoot in the house.  Not for too long, though!  Toes got cold and went back into the slippers!
  6. Screen door went in on the back door.  Door was cracked open a while until the furnace kicked on.
  7. Itchy eyes.
  8. Big puffy clouds.
  9. Pink sunsets.
  10. Daylight long after the dinner dishes are done.

    1. My socks went back on rather quick
and my slippers did the trick
Not quite warm enough for that.

  7. Ha! I thought I was missing some pics too! But I see by reading above what you said. We are programmed to see one photo per number - are you trying to mess with our brains? :-) Albeit mine is already far gone!
I was thinking when I saw those pretty flowers that they would be perfect in your blue garden. There is something so special about a blue flower... not sure what it is. Maybe because there aren't as many varieties? I don't know... but I love them.

    1. Funny....I thought I posted single photos posts as much as the other kind! Oh well....

Next warm sunny day I'm going to transfer some of those flowers...and divide some hostas, too.
Still not warm enough out there for me! Besides, it's rainy!

    2. Was nice earlier today, but raining now. We've had a few sunny days in a row though so that's been nice. Yes, you do post single photo posts as much... but not usually with a numbered list under them? Who knows... but I love all your posts!

  9. Isn't it nice to have that screen door in use? Even for just a bit? Nothing like a bit of fresh air in the house after a long winter.

  12. I'm feeling your spring....green is in. Coming through Central Calif. my allergies kicked in, and I've been blowing my nose and itching eyes. Since we got home it's clearing up. That Valley was the death of me for those 27 years. Almonds, peaches, dust, pollen, I had almost forgotten how much I hate allergies. I need to put away winter clothes, and shop for some new spring colors. The laundry is done, the frig is full, and I think I'll take in a movie tomorrow.

    1. Next month when our trees are in bloom, I'll be miserable! You forget how bad it is when you aren't in it!

Sounds like you've been a busy bee with the laundry, unpacking, grocery shopping, etc! I'm sure it feels good to be home! Movie sounds fun.....
