- My current favorite breakfast.
- It's all about the eyebrows and whiskers!
- Praying for Spring-like weather. He got his answer the next day!
- Someone said recently that my husband must be very tolerant of my cat project. Thought I'd show you just how tolerant he is! ha.
- Mr. Robin continues to eat dried cherries I throw to him!
- A chocolate, or two.
- After a particularly rough day, I saw this kiss in the sky.
- My grocery helper. Lynne, this one's just for you!
♥
My favourite breakfast too. Love the kitties and cloud pics but REALLY love the Mister's accessory. :-D
ReplyDeleteNice terminology! I'm sure the Mister needs accessorising as much as the rest of us!
DeleteHe does look good in black, doesn't he?
DeleteI think I've been praying for Spring just as hard as the squirrel was!
ReplyDeleteIt's suppose to reach 60 here later in the week!
DeleteNice photos, especially that last one. We are cat lovers at our house too. I think someone should knit that chilly squirrel a sweater.
ReplyDeleteHe would look adorable in a little sweater, wouldn't he?
DeleteLook at that face! It's shaped like a heart, which is so appropriate. You can just see the sweetness oozing right out of him. The one of The Mister and his helper has such opposing expressions. The kitty looking straight at you. The Mister totally absorbed in what he's doing. I'm in awe of your photography skills. Lynne in NC
ReplyDeleteHe was reading the newspaper and Whiskers was trying to get his attention! haha. She does love the mister, as does Tiger.
DeleteNice clicks Betsy..your Mister looks really tolerant..n the click of the robin I loved..
ReplyDeleteHe loves the cats...it's a good thing, don't you think? ha.
DeleteI see Cyril the Squirrel is still with you. He's been waiting a long time for the birds to go away. When I read the first sentence of "Lynne in NC" 's comment I naturally thought she was talking about the Mister! Ha.
ReplyDeleteA heart shaped face....haha...then you thought it surely couldn't be!
DeleteI forgot to tell the squirrel that you named him Cyril!
DeletePoor squirrel looks cold as can be
ReplyDeleteOut there in the tree
Hmmm maybe you are tolerating his cat project
Hopefully no scratches came due when they hit eject
Squirrel will warm up
Deleteand be a happy pup
Should feel a lot like spring
as this week takes wing!
You know I love the cat photos and that squirrel is so cute! Wishing you a very nice week, Betsy.
ReplyDeleteHe is a little cute thing, isn't he? I hope he stays safe!
DeleteGreat photos! I love that little squirrel. Nice picture of the Mr too.
ReplyDeleteThey both look nice, don't they? ha.
DeleteYou have a lot to show us tonight
ReplyDeleteEverything good and nothing to fright
Love the breakfast which looks delicious
With lots of goodness ~ so nutritious
There with his whiskers he stands proud
While squirrel in the tree safe from feline crowd
Tolerant Mister with a cat on his head
Lives up to his name while his book is read
Mr Robin with chest so puffed out with pride
Catches cherries from Betsy, thrown far and wide.
Those chocks or two would not last long
I bet my assumption cannot be wrong.
That kiss in the sky is from each blogging friend
And your grocery helper his assistance would lend . . . lol
Hope you had a nice day:)
I have been decorating ~ painting daughter's bedroom . . . :)
Giving Pat a run for his money!
DeleteI think your rhyme is great and funny!
Paint fumes must agree with you
as you wrote a poem, and a good one, too!
Now tell me have you been painting too,
DeleteYour poem shows talent in verse, clever you.
Must be the paint fumes, as you say
To make poems spring forth ~ hip hooray! . . . lol
I think this warm weather is a tease
Deleteand soon again there will be a cold breeze.
Maybe some snow and ice,
because March isn't always nice!
I find I come alive when it's warm
DeleteAnd I'd really love that to be the norm
But when it gets rainy and when it gets cold
I just want to sleep and be idle and old . .
But when the first eyes of March do appear
I get off my backside and change up a gear . . . . . lol
I'm quite the opposite to you
Deleteas I hate summer, and sweating, too!
Give me snow and ice and cold
yes, I know it's a little bold.
Fall and winter are the best
you can have all the rest!
Well you go and live on the North Pole
DeleteIt sounds just the place to rest your soul.
I will live on the equator
And be a lively narrator . . . .
You know opposites attract
That young lady is a fact . . . . . lol
I bet I'll look better in my Santa's elf suit
Deletethan you in your swim shorts over your caboose!
lol!
I sure think you are right
DeleteI'd give you such a fright . . . . . lol
ha!
DeleteYou have away of making yogurt and berries look SO delicious.
ReplyDelete( I almost licked my computer screen! )
haha....hope Tom wasn't watching.
DeleteYour husband does look like a good sport in that picture!
ReplyDeleteWhiskers is always wanting his attention! ha.
Deletehahaha that squirrel looks like it is shivering....
ReplyDeleteand ha on the cat on the neck...hey if it would just settle
down it could be a nice neck warmer...smiles.
He does look like he's shivering! Aw. But it's warming up this week!
DeleteYears back my mister was much more tolerant of Oreo than he is today.
ReplyDeleteA little bit o' lovin'
Love the squirrel photo. I think I actually saw him shiver. Toss that poor thing a mitten or something to curl up in.
:0)
Those photos of your husband and Oreo are sooooo sweet, Martha!
DeleteAw...so cute!
DeleteA mitten...hahaha.....if he has a mitten on his head in the next picture you're going to laugh!
DeleteYour cat in the bag reminds me of my daughter's cat who loves boxes and bags. She can hardly unload her bags from the grocery store before Kitter is trying to hide in them. I'm sorry I don't know your cats names....have you written a post with their pictures and names all in the same post?
ReplyDeleteI did write a post like that once but some of the faces are different now! They are in the label of each post, so that should help you. :)
DeleteWhat a lovely pictorial weekend. Marmalade has a beautiful profile. Such majesty in that shot. Love the Mister and his fur collar. Our Rustina used to lay on Don's shoulders. All you comments are so fun to read. You have such a delightful fan club, and poets...haha.
ReplyDeleteI bet Rustina made a lovely fur collar on Don!
DeleteI do have a few poets, don't I? And yes, for the most part they really are very fun and nice. :)
Each and every pic made me smile...your life is quite animated sometimes!!!
ReplyDeleteJane xxx
very! ha.
DeleteBeautiful images, Betsy... The Mister does look as though he is quite tolerant of your kitty loves. ;) I love that little robin looking into the sun!! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeletehe loves them as much as me...and spoils them even more, believe it or not!
DeleteThat photo of The Mister and Whiskers brought a big smile to my face on the train here this morning.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had a rough day. Hopefully it wasn't something that will linger, and best wishes for a better day today!
It is funny, isn't it? He has a couple of cats here that just love him...follow him around the house and chatter all the way. Cracks me up!
DeleteIt's a brand new day...I'm expecting all smiles! :)
My cat only loves me because I am the one who feeds her. My husband stole her heart from me years ago and he doesn't even like cats. Go figure. :)
ReplyDeletehaha...oh, that is so funny! Well, she's a female...she's allowed to be fickle!
DeleteLove all your photos for a variety of reasons. Your hubby is in a trance like state... why... he's got a 'black cat' on his back. Its like voodoo!
ReplyDeletehaha...yes, I think you may be right! We have 4 black cats! There must be voodoo all over the place!
DeleteAll of your photos are so great. Yes I see hubby is an animal lover too. I am watching and waiting to see a robin. I have heard they are on the other side of our small town. I am watching.
ReplyDeleteYour blog , your home, is always such a happy face to visit...just like a big warm hug!
