Well, the end pieces look lighter because they are thinner slices...and have white pith behind them. :) But it made a pretty picture with the two colors!
Love these yummy jewels! I bought a big jar of the already cut ones in the produce cooler at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and um... aside from the few that Serena ate, um, yeah the rest were mine!
