I hope that all those little tiles came on that mesh stuff so that they didn't have to be stuck on one at a time! That would have been exhausting otherwise. Looking good though! xx
It all looks great. You have so room on your countertops. That must be really handy when you have a big family meal or when you are filling a lot of basket orders. The new kitchen will be a nice place to work with all of the space and those big windows to look out of. I really like it!
the thing that I love today in your photos is the golden color of your lighted cabinets, with golden brought down to the island and cutting board, then the golden color of the inside of the card board box and then brought further down by the golden orange of the cat, , oh I forgot this kitty's name, but for me the colors you chose are beautiful, it looks like a magazine layout,
haha...I love how even the cardboard box is color coordinated....how did that happen? haha...and Marmalade blends in nicely, too, with the accent color!
Really beautiful. I love it! The cabinets, the countertops and backsplash. But I have to say, You've totally surprised me with this makeover in going outside the so-called traditional box. Have you surprised yourself?
Yes...most definitely! Every time we picked something out, I'd say,"This is not anything like what I had envisioned in my mind!" haha. I even said it tonight! I had a casual, farmhouse, kind of kitchen in my mind...open shelving, very relaxed. I absolutely love how it's turning out, but nobody is more surprised than me! lol....
I see Marmalade has managed to sneak into both photos - ha! He loves the spotlight. Love all the finishing touches. Yes, I also love the look of a farmhouse kitchen... one of my favourites, so it would be a toss-up for me, I think. But yours looks so very polished and beautiful that I might just have to have TWO kitchens! Isn't it interesting what we end up with - love that it surprised you.

ReplyDeletehaha...I said that exact same thing to our contractor, Kris...that I bet he was glad they came in sheets instead of individual circles! Oh my!
DeleteIt's looking good, and I see Marmalade had to get into the picture! What do the boys think of it all?
ReplyDeleteThe boys certainly notice each new thing! They check it all out when they get home!
DeleteLooking so good. HaHa I see Marmalade checking it out too.
ReplyDeleteHe's eating...I didn't see him until I posted the picture! haha...

DeleteWow, staring at that
ReplyDeleteMay make one see dots at their mat
Looks great though
See marmalade is done with his rooftop show
Too many dots for you?
DeleteI did it to drive you cuckoo.
haha.
Marmy worked up quite an appetite
after walking the roof all night. :)
lol I'd stare if it was at my lair
DeleteAnd might drive me crazier without a care
crazier is the key word
Deleteas you've just admitted you're already absurd.
haha.
Absurd is more fun though
DeleteTo give a go

Very nice job! I want that kitchen! My son does the same when he comes home..he notices everything, he is very curious.
ReplyDeleteI love that they notice and are curious. It's easy to think they don't see or care...and when they do, it makes me smile. :)
DeleteI get that! It makes me smile too.
DeleteYes, I can understand his seeing dots. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks great and will be even better with grout!
Hopefully they won't give anyone a headache. lol....

ReplyDeleteno...I like them!
DeleteI've visited your site several times today, and you STILL haven't moved that stuff out of the bay window!
