At first I thought Marmy was bird watching, but he was
just scouting out his route to the roof...up the tree and
crossing over just above my head as I sat at my desk.
Rooftop Surveillance Duty, you know.
He takes his job very seriously!

DeleteWhat a precious puddy tat! He had his eye on those berries that match his coat and wanted to pose with them. By the way, all members of your furry flock have such splendid coats. Lynne in NC
ReplyDeleteIsn't he sweet? He's started a new habit of sleeping with me....right along side, in the crook behind my knees. ha. Then when I wake up and sit up to have a cup of coffee, he's right there waiting to have his head scratched. ha.
Deletelol he looks to be scoping out all
ReplyDeleteNothing will get by him at your hall
Nope..nothing at all...
Deletenot mouse, squirrel, or strange cat who may call.
What a sweetheart of a kitty kat. She reminds me so much of Rustina. (It was Rusty until her first litter...we aren't to smart about know the sex of our cats..HaHa. She was beautiful as Marmy. Your photo are so excellent, Betsy...loving all of them. Molly has a little shirt that says "Security"...but she doesn't do Surveillance. tee hee.
ReplyDeleteWell, Marmalade is a boy. I named him for his coat when he was wee tiny and his mom wouldn't let me near them. I don't think he knows it's very feminine. haha....shh...don't tell. :)
DeleteHe makes me smile.

DeleteThat is one sweet kitty. We had a gray one that lived on our chimney most all of the warm weather. People would stop by and say you have a cat on your roof. Yes, we do know that.
ReplyDeleteOh, that is so cute! I thought you were going to say winter because it would be warm. Maybe he was doing neighborhood surveillance duty, too!
DeleteP.S. Just love his sturdy stocky legs. All that climbing exercise! Lynne in NC
