Gee, what a rant as my request you did grant! No mistake was made but the direction of comments that was laid was more than I could take so my head I did shake and poof I deleted the whole thing as irritation it did bring. lol....
I tuned in just before my tea And saw a broad describe a recipe I wondered where on earth she'd vanished And why from your post she was banished. I did not have time to hear all she said And I saw no comments ~ so nine were read. Gosh Pat is on form tonight He really tries to give you a fright . . . . lol
Happy Thanks giving! My wonderful partner, our lovely house, and our amazing luck at being able to spend so much time in beautiful Switzerland. Plus I have a job where they really appreciate me which is very important.
I am grateful for a lot... three would be: People who love and uplift me Nature in all her glory Curiosity - without which I feel life is wasted Wishing you and your five men... and one lovely Lauren... a joyous, relaxing Thanksgiving!
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Betsy! I really like the sign too- must remember.
Okay- three specific blessings today: my kids invited over to a friend's house for the day (they're out of school and driving me crazy), unexpected Ebay items to ship out and a good night's sleep that lead to waking up with a purring fur-ball on me :)
Hi Betsy ... being with family and friends in the UK; having access to help when needed; being free and able to think positively and lots lots more ... health, happiness, peace, food, choices ... Have a glorious day and hope those tatties worked and Lauren's pud is deliciosa! Cheers Hilary
You've names some really good things to be thankful for. Choices...so nice...and a luxury we take for granted, I think! I've cooked and baked all day....just a few things to do this evening! Need to put my feet up! ha.
Happy Thanksgiving Betsy! 3 things I am grateful for: family, friends and have just found out my niece will be having a baby in April. A lot to be thankful for.
My late father-in-law always said 'thank you for material blessings' when he prayed. I'll never forget that. Somewhere to live and lay your head most certainly is something to be thankful for. ....a basic need that some do not have. (got your note...thanks for sharing that).
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for my salvation, close friends, and making it through brain surgery in September. After 40 years of seizures, I am now seizure free! I also enjoy photography and think you definitely have a great eye for pictures!
Oh, I love this....first of all, I'm so glad to hear you are seizure free and made it through such a successful surgery! You just have to be thrilled with that! How wonderful! And I'm also glad to hear you enjoy photography and have come here for a look! Please comment again...I'd love to hear from you...and maybe your name? :)
I am thrilled as it is a huge relief and I can now live my life without daily fear. It's definitely not a surgery I would recommend :) but it's been the right answer for me. I have actually set my photography aside for the last couple of years, but you have inspired me to pick it back up again. I never thought I missed it that much until I saw many of your pictures. Thank you!
I'm sorry I omitted my name the first time. It's Marla.
Hi Marla! I can imagine that surgery was not fun but now you can say it was worth it! Yes, pick up your camera again! Maybe you'll feel like starting a blog so we can enjoy your photos! :)
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving in your beautiful new kitchen and dining room. I'm so thankful to have my mom and her caregiver living with us as she enters the final days or weeks of her life, for my husband and children, and for over 30 years in a profession that I love.
Aw, Laurie...I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. How gracious of you to have her move in with you. I hope the next few weeks are full of blessings for your entire family. Big hugs. Great hubby, kids and job....love all of those thankfuls!
Thank you Betsy for your kind thoughts regarding my mother. She passed away very peacefully a couple of hours after our Thanksgiving dinner. Most of the family was here and I was with her as she took her last breaths. So very thankful that she is finally free and with my dad.
What a great way to look at her passing....finally free from illness and with your dad. Still, I know it hurts and I'll be thinking of you and your family during the next couple of busy days. Thanks for letting me know. Hugs....
Wow, looks like I'm really late getting on here today!! So here goes.... like so many, thankful for my salvation, thankful for my wonderful family, and thankful for my blogger friends like YOU, my dear! You bring smiles to my days. (And some days I really, really need them.) Hope you and the family have a wonderful turkey day!
Well, that was nice. :) I'd say sweet, but then you'd tell me you already knew that. LOL! The rolls just came out of the oven. ...my final chore of the day. Friday, I'm going to deserve to sleep late and eat pie for breakfast, I do believe! ha. And so will you!
Coffee, cinnamon rolls, and the wood stove; that's what I'm thankful for. If you want something a little deeper, I'm grateful for a Creator who cares, His son wh died in my place, and the knowledge that I need Him.
Hello Betsy! Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for my salvation, my family and home, and blogging friends!
That is a great three. Salvation would be my first one, too...without it, nothing else really matters!
DeleteSo thankful for Salvation, My Country, Health except for a few aches and pains! Love the encouragement and humor I get from your blog.
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you....I'm glad you shared. :)
DeleteA mistake post
ReplyDeleteAt your coast?
Saw two
Shame on you lol
Thankful you say?
Been there done that our way
But I can play
At least today
Hmmm what could it be?
The ability to pee?
A roof over my head?
Not being the undead?
Be awful to be shot in the head.
Or maybe just not being dead.
Hmm look where this led?
I guess thankful for a bed
Does blog buddies count?
A rather high amount.
Maybe a working arm?
At least one didn't buy the farm.
Who buys the farm anyway?
Save that for another day?
Farms are too much work
They are not a perk
Is my thankful through?
Sorry, not up to you
I can keep going and going
Than dumb bunny better not start showing
Thankful for a shower
That has nice power
Thankful for a litterbox
Maybe not having holy socks
A holy sock, who knew?
I think I am through
Nope, not yet
Such a mouthy pet
Can't stop me
Whoops got to go pee
Now I am through
Have a good day at your zoo
Gee, what a rant
Deleteas my request you did grant!

He really tries to give you a fright . . . . lol
Well, let's not make this post about that one, too!
DeleteIf I wanted that, I would have left it in view!
Why not a two for one?
DeleteThen done and done
A shaking head is fine by me
That just proves I'm still crazy
But yes being thankful is better than most food
Food gives my body attitude
So thankful it is
With the thankful biz
Thankful is used a lot
Thankful can't be taught
Or can it be thankfully?
Sure beats little old thankful me
thankful that it's just one arm and not two...
Deletenow that is a positive attitude! haha.
Happy Thanks giving!
