That what I call a great Black Friday....we did the same but had pecan pie for breakfast. Had to take Molly to the Vet... more on that later ~ she's fine, but gave us a little concern.
Well now.... I've HEARD about taking a day off, but didn't know that applied to just ceasing to exist! Glad you mustered up enough UMPHHHH to at least post on here for all of us hanging on your every word!! Now I'm much happier.
Sounds like a great day! We went to see a movie late this afternoon, stopped at Taco bell, and are taking it easy. No leftovers for us this year, not even pie.
No shopping for me either. I've been working on getting decorations out and the tree up. I remember that header shot from last year. Loved it then, love it still!
Ooooo, you were brought a cinnamon role in bed! Yum. Gorgeous sunset. I just came in from the Distillery Christmas Market. It opened today and the tree lighting was at 6 p.m. I will post some pics on FB. I wandered around for a bit after that but it was very c-c-c-c-cold out, so I stopped at the bakery and bought a braised lamb sandwich from the bakery and a choice of delicious cookies - lemon poppyseed, cranberry pecan and chocolate almond. And now I am sitting with my feet up! Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. xo
Hi Eileen! I'm missing my birding pals....need to get back into the group again! My kitchen Reno stopped a lot of my bird photography there for a while!
Hello! I stayed in pajamas until close to dinner time .. dressed myself and served another marvelous dinner from all of the left-overs. Carl and I head to St. Louis for Christmas and to Cocoa Beach for the month of January. It's been a challenging last several months ... this will be good for Carl (me too.). Sunsets like the one you shared are breathtaking and life affirming ... take care.
tara and mom went out for just a bit...they have fun and enjoy it...oh well...you would not be able to get me out there...ha... we stayed around the house and played a bit...went to the flea market, which was not busy, but gave us some fun people to talk to and meet....
My kind of day.....for sure! My son is coming tomorrow to put up the lights... I have meatless spaghetti sauce bubbling....and an apple pie in the oven....for tomorrow's dinner with him and Anna♥️ Enjoy the rest of your holiday! Cheers! Linda :o)
That sounds like a perfect Friday with lots of things to be thankful for. We decorated for Christmas, put up the tree, and also had cinnamon rolls. Well, the Pillsbury kind. Does that still count? Haha
