Random Thoughts

  1. Happy November. :)
  2. I ordered the Thanksgiving turkey today.
  3. Counter tops were installed this morning.  They look wonderful! Photos to come later.
  4. We're getting snow this weekend!  Flurries, 1 inch, 3 inches...it all depends on what forecast you read. ha. Three more plants to bring inside tonight!
  5. The Mister took the day off, so it feels like Saturday to me.  I'll be confused all weekend now!
  6. We had the least number of trick-or-treaters ever last night!  The neighborhood has grown up.  I have candy left over!  Is that good or bad?  I haven't had a single piece today, though. ha.

  4. I didn't get any trick or treaters this year because I put a notice on my door saying "Beware! A dangerous fire-breathing Dragon lives here! And she's not happy today."

Or maybe it's like your place Betsy, the kids here have all grown up and are probably in the pub.

Can't wait to see the counter tops - bet it feels great to have them installed.
No trick or treaters for us tonight. It's nasty weather, snow, rain and wind so that doesn't help!

So glad your counters are in. Can't wait up see them.
We had five trick or treaters. That's a lot for us. We haven't had any in past years. But they have built more houses here and there are more kids now.
We had snow flurries today. Can't remember snow on Halloween before.

  11. Do the kids Trick or Treat on the 30th in Ohio? Our neighborhood has grown up too, and we only had about 60 kids last year. There have always been around 300. This year I got smart (or maybe dumb!) and bought some Reeses and Almond Joy, which are my favorites. There is a call for rain tonight, so that may keep some of the kids away.

    1. It usually is on the 30th but it depends on the day of the week. We don't do it on the weekends and it never interferes with Friday night high school football. Ha. The date varies from county to county and is announced each year.

I didn't hand out any almond joys....ate all of those myself! Ha.
