This is so pretty, Betsy. LOL about your coffee pot and my doggie water bowl by the bed! Harriet is 13 and sleeps on the floor beside my bed with her water bowl right beside her! Normally, the cat is not allowed in the bedroom BUT....you know how that goes!
I remember when I was a kid we got some very bad fogs, actually smogs due to coal fires at the time. Once I remember you couldn't see morw than 10 yards ahead and the motorists had to creep along at 5 mph or so.
That is such a pretty planter and love the contrast of the planter, plant and that mystical fog. When we lived in Santa Barbara by the Ocean years ago, I love the morning fog. Would burn off my noon, and then head to the beach.
I dumped the other stuff down the drain and used some of My Darling's powdered creamer. It was a headache fog that enveloped me, but I think it's lifting. :0)
Blondie - You mean men don't flush the toilet? Damn, and I've been doing it all wrong. I always flush, if like other men I didn't, then I would be in a right mess; literally! You see, I live alone and I've even been known to replace the empty toilet roll!
Betsy - That's a very evocative picture, brings back some memories for me. Tell me, when did you notice that your yard was missing?
What a beautiful shot! I love fog! :)
ReplyDeleteI do, too! It's mysterious, isn't it? So fun.
DeleteLove fog shots! I have a few I should share! Something calming, peaceful, and mysterious all rolled into one that is very appealing to me!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you should share your fog shots! I love it!

DeleteBeautiful photo... and I have always loved that planter. I find the fog very special.
ReplyDeleteI think that fern and planter will have to come inside this winter!
DeleteSo pretty! Fog in the fall is spooky. Not quite fall yet, but it's coming!
ReplyDeleteIt is spooky, isn't it? Especially when it's at night!
Deletea little fog there...it was a massive storm last night. so we woke up to soggy
ReplyDeleteand fallen tree limbs...
Lots of bad weather across the country...but not here....glad you're safe!

ReplyDeleteBut love today's fogs . . . . .:)
Yes, this was harmless, pretty fog...it burnt off with the sunrise!
DeleteI love foggy mornings! It was foggy here too, and I wanted to take pictures instead of going to work! :)
ReplyDeleteIt really does make you want to stop and take pictures...especially if you're out driving through scenic farmland.
DeleteLovely shot....looks like header material...just sayin'.......
ReplyDeleteToilet flusher,eh? Hahaha! Oh my.....
Cheers!
Linda :o)
That would make a nice header! I'll have to do that when I'm bored with the little birdie brood. ha.
Deletehaha...yes, toilet flusher! What on earth!

ReplyDeleteThat's what this did....left with the sun! But it was fun while it lasted!
DeleteLook beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI thought so, too!
DeleteFog or smog?
ReplyDeleteGas from dog or hog?
Sky clog or bog?
Breath from frog or mog?
Sky clog or agog!
God spit out eggnog
Just a cloud laying low
Deletetaking it slow.

You're no fun
DeleteGiving the easy version a run
I am too fun.
DeleteI'm fun a ton.
lol!
I was in the fog all day.
ReplyDelete:0)
lol....no coffee? Did you get fresh creamer?
DeleteI dumped the other stuff down the drain and used some of My Darling's powdered creamer.
DeleteIt was a headache fog that enveloped me, but I think it's lifting.
:0)
A 2 day headache? Now you're sounding like me!
DeleteIt's those stinkin' hormones, I tell you!
DeleteI have often wondered if that was the culprit with me!
DeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh about your sidebar note about Alex flushing the toilet. How so many of us wish the men would!!!
Jane xx

Keith, if you put the seat back down, too, you're quite the catch...one in a million! Ha.
DeleteAnd not only was our yard missing, but the whole neighborhood, too!
That's a thing that annoys me, when I woman uses the toilet they NEVER put the seat up when they've finished !
DeleteSorry, "when a woman. . . "
DeleteIf I ever come to visit, I'll remember that! ha.
DeleteYour fog makes a terrific background. I love how you take the simple things and make them so elegant.
ReplyDeleteWell, thanks! I call it 'beauty in the ordinary' and I love to look for it. :)
DeleteNice shot- the fog really makes the basket pop. No fog here, just yuckky humidity, which I swear is invisible fog.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed weekend!
Oh, I think you've hit on something there...humidity really is invisible fog...that should be in the dictionary! haha.
