Autumn Gift Basket

It's been a while since I had a gift basket order!
Seems I've been concentrating on auction finds and my etsy store
much more than my original little home business!  But I did get
a couple of orders this week and today I made up the first one.
This basket is going to the workers at a sunflower farm.

With all the autumn themed items in the stores, it was
easy to put together a fun, practical basket.
I hope they like their big planter full of garden gloves,
hand soap, nail scrubbers, coffee, chocolates and
pumpkins scented candles, among other things.
I wonder where they'll put that big yard stake.
Maybe beside the time card station. ha.

  1. You did an awesome job, Betsy. The chocolate cornflake clusters caught my attention! I remember peanut butter/cornflake candy from school lunches.

    1. Keith has mentioned making those chocolate corn flake clusters. I'd had never heard of them before, so I'm anxious to see if he notices these!
Now, peanut butter corn flake candy? That is new to me, too!

    2. Yes, I spotted the Choccy Cornflake Cakes as my mother called them. During WWII she couldn't get the ingredients to make we kids some cakes, so she spent her sweet ration on Gov't Branded Chocolate, melted it and mixed in Kellogs Corn Flakes (apart from porridge oats, that was all that was available) the put dollops of it on greaseproof paper to set. Voila! Cakes for Sunday teatime.

Now I see you can buy them in the US of A ! At great expense no doubt.

Er. . . .do I qualify for a gift basket, being old and infirm? Just asking. . . .

    3. How very inventive of your mother! They should have named them after her, I think! No wonder you love them even now...I suspect a little sentimental value is attached to them, too! I need to make some! And yes, of course you qualify for a basket...but you must come pick it up in person! What theme would you like yours to be? Chef? Chocolate Lover? French? All of the above? ha.

    4. Hi, I'll call on Sunday morning. Is it allright if I park the Mercedes in the circle at the end of Drive?

    1. My busy basket time is December! It's usually quiet the rest of the year...which is fine, actually. One can only have so many businesses in their home! haha.

      I'm ready for fall, too.....

I might have to go back and buy those corn flake clusters. I want to taste them!
