That blue spruce is truly magnificent - if I was moving into a new house and there was a lot of space available that might just ne my first choice tree,
When I first saw this posting, I thought you had a dusting of SNOW already!!! Whew!!! Glad you didn't. Here in GA we are roasting.... still.... even though it's only 89 today! HAAHAAA.....
LOL! Oh, that would have been something else! No, we're near 90 degrees ourselves today..very humid, too. But I do love snow...maybe not in August, though. I suppose you're sipping sweet southern tea and staying cool.
I'm actually working outside in the yard & garden trying to keep grass under control, and the garden maintained! Sweating like a dog!! Drinking lots and lots of water. Sweet tea comes along at the end of my day at dinner time (or supper, as we say down here.) And maybe a second or third glass as I sit on the porch swing and watch the sun set and feel the cooler night air move in.
I had a bonsai blue spruce once, it was growing on a rock with the roots all down the sides into the soil. It was 80 years old. I entered it into a show, and the next day it was gone, along with several other peoples bonsai; they had a break in at the Exhibition Hall that night.
Hi Betsy... That header is fantastic! And the shots of the seasons...now...waiting for Fall...your favorite season! Enjoy your evening...any rain there? Cheers! Linda :o)
Isn't that cute? It's perfect...birds, grey, five, black background. Gloria sent it to me this morning. No rain, although we could use some! 90F and huuuuuumid. Ugh.
yes, it's the perfect header, isn't it? Yes, you're lovely! haha. I do see the pins you send me and pin them to my boards! I don't always take the time to comment on each one.
Yeah, I almost missed 'summer', didn't I? It's 2/3rds done already! Our leaves peak in October, so I'll wait until it's perfectly colorful for the next one. :)
Yuck to number one Needs way more sun The other two are grand Forget fall in your land? Or did you just skip that Couldn't find a shot without a cat? lmao
These are gorgeous. So clever that you got exactly the same angle, Betsy. I love having four seasons too, although right now I am melting and I don't like it! And how curious that there is not a cat to be had in any of these - just as well or you would have to match them up each time you took a new photo. That would be a challenge! I bet some are hiding just out of sight. LOVE the new birdie header - ha!
What a fantastic series of photos - like the summer one best so far. That blue tree is marvelous. What is it?
ReplyDeleteAnd just loved the header. Blog needs renaming , "My Five Crooners" . . . . lol
It's a Blue Spruce....a pine tree, really. It's new growth certainly is bluer than earlier in the year...no photo editing there.
