    1. Are there Nuthatches in OK? See those feet? They are made for walking up and down tree trunks. They are so cute and fast and hang upside down! haha.

Ooh...big crowd for Easter dinner? I know you'll make it wonderful for everyone!

  10. I need to start reading my bird book again. Apparently in Southern Ontario we have two types: the white-breasted and the red-breasted. I did not know they defied their centre of gravity! That is too funny... looks like he is having fun though. Those must be some strong claws!

  13. We just put up a birdhouse that has a clear side and attaches to a window. So, we can see inside their house from inside our house. We're curious to see if a bird will really make it a home, and if so, what type it will be.

    1. I have seen those and have always wondered if they work or if the birds are too scared because they can see you, too! Best of luck with that...it would be amazing to have such a close look at their nest!

    2. There is a privacy cover that slides to the side so most of the time the birds won't see us. Thanks!

    3. Oh, that's perfect. I was just sitting here wondering if there was one with a two way mirror on the window side so they couldn't see you but you could see in. Any guesses on the type of bird? Do you have a common one in your yard?

    4. I'm not a bird expert like you are so I'll have to picture of the one that builds a nest and let you identify it.

    5. You know if yours works, I'm going to want one! ha.
