    1. Have you ever noticed that the color gets richer the closer the sun gets to the horizon? So cool.

  5. Beautiful, and as Eddie says, it does look as though it is on fire. We have a saying here in old England, which goes like this

Red sky at night, shepherds delight, Red sky at morning, shepherds warning.

So, if this was tonight, perhaps the snow will not be so bad after all! xx

    1. Maybe you're right! Unless the shepherds like snow. lol...

Our saying is very similar except it's sailors instead of shepherds!

    2. Hi Amy! Great minds I was going to say that - you beat me to it, but it's raining so hard here in Bristol that there was no chance to see a sunset today. Haven't seen it for a while. Is it still spherical? lol

      Delete
    3. I saw the sun today, for about a minute and then it disappeared again, I think that it has moved somewhere that is far far away from here! It is heaving with rain here too, we have men coming to cut our trees on Thursday, what chance they will actually do the work and stay dry! I think that we should get Betsy to swap us some snow for rain, but I think that she prefers the snow!!

      Delete
    4. Yep! she is hogging all the snow for her and those cats who crouch in it and ambush birds! Fancy that!!
Well we are developing a coffee chat place between us. Anyone else want to join in and where is our hostess, Betsy? I expect she'll tell us soon she was eating her meal, washing up or entertaining the big kids. Don't believe a word of it!!! ROFL
Nice talking - I feel like a Radio Ham.

    5. You can radio ham with me Eddie, but I'm off too now! See you tomorrow (or today!)

  14. We have snow here, too, though it looks like my son is going to school today. My train is running late, though.

Betsy, your blog prompted a discussion (of sorts) about autism with my son during the Super Bowl. I wrote about it this morning.
